Jared Dudley, Robin Lopez, Channing Frye, Goran Dragic, Lou Amundsun. (When you name all your teams scrubs one of them has to at least improve)

Kwame Brown

Shannon Brown could make the most of the minutes his strong playoff contribution has earned him.

However, as much as I hope/think he will improve, I think they look for players who become borderline great, like Granger and Turkaglu. I think the level of skill in the end is more important than the level of improvement, as long as their is a good amount of improvement, the better player will probably win.

Agreed. ANDREA BARGNANI fsho. The only other possibility I would say is Trevor Ariza. Even as a Laker fan I think he's gonna be big in Houston.

The only way Bargs wins is if CB4 is not in TO when the season begins, but he will be as they are trying to contend.

Ryan Anderson. Maybe Brandon Bass...

I think either of Sacramento's young big men (Hawes and Thompson) have a good chance.

I don't know. There are 100 guys who are just as likely as anyone else.

I am going with Tyrus Thomas, Anthony Randolph, or Brandan Wright. I think that 1 of these athletic freaks has to put their skill set together and hit it big. I also think Derrick Rose could take that next big jump and possibly win it.

x2. How about Lebron for MIP, MVP, DPOY, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the year. I think the NBA's "golden child" could sweep all of the awards. He'll just whisper into David Sterns ear and Stern will confiscate all awards for him.

This is kind of a homer pick....
but what about Russell Westbrook...?

I think that he can really improve in his second year at point guard...

Rookie stats: 15 ppg, 5ast, 5 reb

Predicted Sophomore stats (IMO): 18ppg, 7.5ast, 5 reb

I think his assists will greatly rise....
and his assist to turnover ratio will improve...

You're right.

Russell Westbrook. I really do believe he's got a nice chance at it though.

this is the toughest award to call, cause its always someone who just wasn't that good, or didn't get minutes, or was hurt, and they become sweet
Thaddeus Young, Greg Oden, or Rajon Rondo are my guess picks

Tyrus Thomas also showed a TON of promise in Feburary as well averaging something like 15 PPG/9 RPG/2.5 BPG.:D
