Not sure if you guys saw this, but Wade on ESPNEWS seemed really intrigued about the rumor of AI coming to Miami. He was talking so highly about him and what he could bring to the Heat. Do you think this means Iverson will be on the Heat next season?

I thought there was a report, that Iverson said the heat was last on his list??

Wade would get another scorer and Wade will be less pressure to score 30+ every game
in order for the Heat to win, now he could depend on Beasley and Iverson both of them could easily score 20+

Wade doesn't care this season, he just wants some more help no matter who it is.

Beasley might come out and prove to be a great sidekick.

It won't be Iverson. He didn't make the team better in Denver, and well know the Detroit situation. I don't think this is a good move for Miami

I don't know if AI can still score 20 points a night anymore, but I sure do know Beasley can. The man is a scoring machine, the only reason his numbers weren't as big as many of us thought was because their coach only gave him 24 minutes a night.

It would be fun to see them play together, but we need to get Amare and not wait.

I second that

AI/Wade/Beasley/Haslem/JO

AI as the second option on a defensive-minded team, sound like a championship contender team 2 me.

Well if it would make Wade happy, shiid Riley needs to try to work his magic.

AI is still a beast, i'm not sure where all these "he's too old, or he's lost a step" come from. He didn't fit in the pistons offense, and they never planned to keep him anyway they traded Chauncey for AI's expiring contract period. AI and Dwayde would be scary if they can devise an offense that moves the ball AI is waaay better than Chalmers at point and he will take the pressure off of D wayde. Plus you can get him cheap and still go after amare or anyone else in a s/t.

I wouldn't gamble on Iverson.

I think this is Iverson's best bet and fit in the NBA. He won't be starting, because Chalmers is younger, more atheltic, a better defender and a better shooter. Can't stunt his growth if he hopes to keep pace with Rondo.

Iverson
Wade
Beasley
Haslem
JO
bench
Chalmers i think it makes them a better team, and if AI decides to come off the bench instead it would be even better for them...i just dont want iverson to rot in memphis

signing AI then trading blount and haslem for stoudemire would make us contenders..
then we would just have to make a small trade/sign another backup big man (perhaps sign Powe or trade head and diawara for a defensive minded big man-like how toronto just got reggie evans) and we'd be set

Iverson/Chalmers/Quinn
Wade/Cook
Beasley/Jones/Wright
Stoudemire/Powe
O'Neal/Anthony

Blount + Haslem for Amare is just isnt realistic to me. But i do like the idea of Miami going for another big man.

I wonder wut # AI would wear, D-Wade wears #3, and #1 seems like bad luck for AI.

you can not be serious if you add Beasley and subtract Haslem then its possible.

if wade is for it id love for a.i to go the heat.

that would be a devastatingly quick backcourt and there is no telling how much that would free up Beasley's development.

good mve for them.

Because he let his man score more in that amount of time lol
