^^^You know, that's definitely the question that I'm asking. How can one team have so many pitchers go down if the coaching staff isn't at least partially responsible?

the one thing you can count on every season is atleast 4-5 jays pitchers going on the DL

something is seriously wrong here...

im starting to wonder maybe we should bring back galen cisco if he is still alive.

why is mills getting called up again...the only thing he does is get ****ing smashed all over the ****ing park...this is ruining a prospect 101. Where is Purcey??

cmon? seriously? you HONESTLY think the pitching staff is injuring the jays pitching???

It's ****ing baseball people, injuries happen and yes they can pile up!

the bright side.... marcum is stated to make a start in the minors according to the commentators. so he might be back soon.

but another pitcher on the dl... this is just ridiculous

Id like to see the other guuy. Fabio Castro. a while back he was doing really well. Cecil and Mills should still be in the minors before they come up here and get hurt with the excess innings

Hey, it's complete speculation, but it IS possible. (I'm assuming you meant training staff above btw)

Injuries do pile up, and pitching is probably the worst, most unnatural, thing an athlete can do to their arm, but all the arm troubles are a bit suspect.

I've read some interesting articles on Cecil lately - this gist being that he likely isn't ready to be a major league starter yet. He doesn't conceal the ball well, and really needs another pitch to be really good over 7 innings. A couple of the scouting reports I've read suggest that he's best suited coming out of the bullpen right now.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Fabio could do...but I'm not sure he would do much better. His AAA numbers haven't been great.
