My question is simple. Which team in the NBA currently do you think has the worst contracts that are bloated and overpaid to most of their roster, which limits financial flexibility thus halting their rebuilding process back for many years? Im thinking Bobcats, Clippers, .. etc.

Durant is hype

Actually the Bulls have Jerome James and he is a $6 Million expiring this year and he is covered by insurance so the Bulls only pay him half of that if I am correct.

Jerome James got traded this season to the bulls
Eddy Curry's trying to get into shape by a training facility in detriot, although ill give you that one
The knicks gm shed and unloaded zach randolph,Jamal crawford's contracts for expirings that can make the knicks as much as 40M under the cap for the 2010 FA class
They just have 2 players with contracts in the 2010-2011 season and no bad contracts going 2011 and beyond
Your looking at the new and improved NY knicks, no more wasteful spending and looking good for the future

Believe me theres worse teams

The Pacers have some pretty bad contracts. The players aren't terrible, but they aren't worth their contracts:

Troy Murphy: $11 million
Mike Dunleavy: $10 million
TJ Ford: $8.5 million
Jamal Tinsley: $7 million
Jeff Foster: $6 million

That's over $40 million on those five players, add Granger's contract (which is deserved) and they're basically at the cap.

Gotta be the Clippers, though unloading the immovable contract of Zach Randolph was genius. People seriously shouldn't listen to ESPN.

Relax its Memphis when they traded for him so they know what their doing. Way to cough up $33M for a chemistry killer memphis :laugh2: Its only his 4th NBA team.

Jermone James was traded to the Bulls and he is an expiring this year covered by insurance this year anyway.

Jamal Crawford was traded for expiring Al Harrington.

Zach Randolph was traded.

We only have Eddy Curry and Jared Jeffries and only 18 million guaranteed contracts for 2010......and you say we have the worst contracts?? STFU!!

I hate ppl always trying to make fun of the Knicks.

Sixers

Brand 14 M
Dalembert 11.5 M
Kapono 6 M
Williams 5 M
Green 4 M
Iguodala 12 M

So that 52.5 M

I put Iggy cause i don't think he is worth his contract some may say i am wrong but that is what i think. If we would have waited till this year to sign him he would have got a Ben Gordon type contract.

The pacers arent as bad as other's though and i would take their issues over the knicks or hornets

Clippers got rid of Randolph, meaning the only bad contract they have left is Kaman at 5 years 50 million or so. Baron has a big contract, but thats because he's a top 3 pointguard in this league WHEN HE'S ON, which he certainly was not last season. I'm confident he will redeem himself this year. Camby and Qrich expire after next season, while Randolph would have costed 33mil over the next 2 seasons. So not only did the Clippers free up the starting spot and more PT for Griffin, but they also unloaded a fat contract and enabled themselves to sign a fairly large deal in the 2010 bonanza.

Hornets...but i dont think it is hurting them from contention down the years...its killing them at the moment though for sure.

The bad ones are (avg):
Peja 13.8 million
Tyson Chandler 12.8 million
Mo Pete 6 million
Antonio Daniels 6.6 million
Posey 6.2 million
