Not for us I tell you that much. In fact, I don't believe we have ever had a good offseason.

this offseason has made 5 teams contenders and 25 teams irrelevant.

How is that a good offseason?

Except for that one time that one guy slipped and fell on your lap during draft day. What was his name . . . Jordan or something?

In all seriousness that and moving up to draft Derrick Rose makes you pretty fortunate!

you mean the same five teams contenders.... these were already 5 of the 7 best teams in the league =P

Maybe exciting is a better word than best if you look at it from your perspective.

When did I say they weren't already contenders?

This just separates them further from the pack. If you're a fan of those teams, then sure, it should be fun. But the other 80% of us are going to probably be pretty bored.

It'll be even better if my 6ers can find a taker for Elton Brand.

Paul has a player option after the 2012 season.

No, it isnt. Unless by "best in NBA history" you mean the rich getting richer...and this "LEAGUE" this NBA thing is just getting top heavy. If thats what you mean, then yes, it is the best.

well you said it "made" them contenders implying they weren't contenders already

Should have rephrased then. It made those five teams the only contenders.

I doubt NBA 2010 Free Agency lives up to it's hype....

It's definately going to make the playoffs more intense. Now each of the teams have 3 superstars. Insane.

The only way the free agency doesn't live up to its hype is if these big names end up with the same teams.

Bulls will give you Tyrus Thomas and Tim Thomas for him.

Depends if you're a fan of the teams involved. If you are, hell yes. Otherwise, no.

I don't think so because none of this is really surprising. We've known Carter and Shaq were going to get traded. Artest was a FA so there was a good chance he was going to sign with another team. Bucks have been trying to clear cap so they had to move someone. Shaq trade is not surprising either because we learned that the Suns put up the White Flag. Nothing surprising so far but we'll see.

NBAs Top 5 teams next year (As of right now and yes LA even without Odom, depending on where Odom goes [SAS or ORL would change this prediction]):
1. Los Angeles Lakers
2. Orlando Magic
3. Cleveland Cavaliers
4. Boston Celtics (If KG is healthy)
5. San Antonio Spurs

This year, you're gonna have the good teams, the sh1tty teams, and the real sh1tty teams. No mediocre.

Huh, no. It's been one of the worst. Why? It's too predictable. The economy has sucked massively lately, so nobody can afford to sign people to big contracts, except for Detroit. They got their two, everyone else's flocking to the title contenders -- LA, Boston, Cleveland. Boozer and Okur could have opted out but didn't to keep the money.

This offseason sucks.

Just imagine next year, that will be CRAZY!!!

This is a fun offseason so far, 2nd day of free agency and alot of teams are making huge moves. with alot of players still available.

NO ONE thought he would come to Lakers, which I don't blame them considering we had Ariza, but its pretty damn shocking that hes coming to Lakers (at least for me). I really expected Ariza to stay and keep our team the same with maybe a minor change.
