Hey guys, Some of you may remember but I conducted a poll at the start of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. I would like to start this up once more considering the NBA season is now over and we can get to this discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round...Enjoy.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best.

PG Rankings DONT FORGET TO VOTE!!

1) Kobe Bryant
2) Dwayne Wade
3) Brandon Roy
4) Joe Johnson
5) Vince Carter
6) Manu Ginobili
7) Ray Allen
8)
9)
10)

Last Years SG rankings:

1) Kobe Bryant
2) Dwayne Wade
3) Tracy McGrady
4) Allen Iverson
5) Manu Ginobili
5) Vince Carter
7) Joe Johnson
8) Ray Allen
9) Brandon Roy
10) Kevin Martin

Kevin Martin, then Ben Gordon...

then a hard one... maybe Hamilton, Terry?

by leaving out injured guys - Iverson, McGrady... and Rookie Mayo....

I went with McGrady.....when he's healthy he's a top 15 player in this league.....unfortunately he hasn't been healthy

Is should be easy to leave him off the top 10 if he is indeed not healthy.

If I wanted to win in the playoffs, I would take all three of those players over Mayo...give him time, maybe next year if or when the grizzlies improve

Allen may not been have been the Ray Allen of old, but he surely didnt suck. I'm pretty sure he had 51 points one game, and though I like Mayo more than Manu, i still give Manu the slight edge for 2009. Mayo had alot of freedom and the green light, and was able to put up many shots in that Memphis system; he needs a year or two before I personally can put him over Carter, Ray, or Manu

mayo?? r u guys serious?? lol

mayo's number pretty much = ray allen numbers last season...but if ray was on a team like his, im pretty sure he woulda blew them out at least scoring wise

Had to go with K-Mart. He could easily be higher on this list, but its a shame he doesn't play for a good team to show what he really can do.

This one could go either way between Martin and Gordon. I picked Gordon though.

Ugh I cant believe a undersized, no defense little chucker like Ben Gordon has more votes than Rip Hamilton.

Rip should be the guy here IMO, but I can understand Kevin Martin. I for the life of me cant understand how Ben Gordon is beating Rip though.

gotta go with Ben Gordon on this one. He was phenomenal during the playoff, and he's just getting better.

btw is Stephen Jackson considered a SF by whoever made this list? He is a SG, and should definently be on here. I know Ellis is on here already, but Captain Jack is def a SG.

the dude conducting the thread considered him and caron butler a SF b/c of the number of starts they had at that position last year; he was a SG back in his Indiana days though.

Well then I guess we'll be seeing Corey Maggette on the Power Forward list then.

magette was the backup SF I believe...I'm not sure who GSW had as a starting PF; that was a weak spot that was switched around alot last season

all of these SG r so close as far as what they did in 09 I can see Martin, Mayo, Gordon or Hamilton getting that #8 spot, but personally I had to go with RIP

so after his first bad season, hes not even a top-10 SG no more, wow. C'mon, AI deserves more love.

I always thought Jason Richardson was solid-great player in the NBA. I mean he averaged a lil over 20 a game and lead the league in 3's made a few years ago.

However with the likes of Kevin Martin (whom I voted for), Ben Gordon, Jason Terry and even Monta Ellis, there is a small chance he makes the list.

Plus he'll only be remembered for this
