I would bet a yearís worth of my absurd (low) salary on the MVP being either Kobe or Lebron. Iíll bet against anyone that takes the rest of the field.

I mean my biggest worry is really Carmelo and Wade.

on a side note i think kobe will be once again the mvp because his team willl probably have the best record in the league(if they re-sign odom and ariza+chris brown) and i know lebron got shaq and dwight got vincanity but i still think the lakers are the best team and they have the best player(yes lebron is still not the best until he wins it all) and i also think kobe will average 30+ points in his career for maybe the last time

kobe- 31.2ppg 6.5 reb 7.3 asst 2.1 stl 0.9 blks

and a 65+(maybe 70+) win season = 2009-2010 nba mvp

yes i might be biased but i think this really came from my brain and not my heart

Brandon Roy.....the Blazers will lock down a top 3 seed in the West and he'll be the captain of the ship

LeBroom only because Stern & ESPN love him, and he is a Stats chaser....

MVP is a joke now.... The best player is Kobe...THE CHAMP...

If the Heat make any big moves and the Heat land the 5th or 4th seed then Wade. I already see Wade having a monster season it just depends on how his team does.

Of course laker homers are gonna say kobe but in reality i think he has the worst chance out of all of them, he is only getting younger and if his second teammate is top 10 in mvp he is the most valuable.

A team's record adds some weight to the discussion and the Lakers are among the favorites to get the league's best record.

Let's not forget that he actually gets some rest now unlike last year when he had to play a year's worth of basketball and more; nonstop

Yea I understand that, thats adds to my point, CP and Wade will play big minutes to keep their teams afloat. Lebron will do Lebron, actually Dwight might have the worst chance to win it. Kinda because he got mad stars on his team.

I want Kobe to win, but he would have to be beyond spectacular to win it, since it is always lebroom that gets all the media attention and hype. If Kobe and co. can grab 1st place in the regular season and he averages 30 pts 5 reb 5 ast, I think he has a shot.

Whatever team involves the most. Lebron nor Kobe will get it. Both guys were on teams that won 66 and 65 games last year. Someone like Dwight will get it or Brandoy Roy.
