If you owned the Los Angeles Clippers, Would you Move them to a different city?

I read an interesting article today on espn by Bill Simmons of the suppose "Curse of the Sacred Buffalo"
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/090624&sportCat=nba

This is a franchise that shares a fan base with arguably the most storied franchise in nba history (maybe even in all of sports).

Like Simmons put it:

ou're entering a world of "Tonight Show" putdowns and half-empty buildings. You're playing for the worst possible owner and the worst possible coach for the Lakers' ugly stepbrother in Los Angeles. You're dealing with a dwindling fan base that's almost supernaturally depressed at this point.

Look at PSD alone, right now as I see it; there are hundreds of people in the Basketball forums but none in the Clippers threads.

I personally think, the Clippers would be better off in a different city.

If I owned the Clippers, their ownership problem would be no more and I wouldn't have to move them.

As much as I want to say Anaheim because that's where I'm from and I know they've wanted an NBA franchise for a while... it has to be Seattle.

Seattle has a huge fanbase that wants the NBA back. It's a HUGE market as well so the NBA would be making some more money.

I say dissolve the cursed clipper name and retake the sonics name.

they don't have to move them, they're fine with money.
the owner is just cheap. he has spent lately though. look at kaman, baron, dunleavy.
and he loves L.A. he won't move

they're on the way up too imo

why move them? its ownership that has cursed the team. they've assembled some pretty bad teams over the last couple of decades. they got the publicity in LA- they won't get that anywhere else that has no NBA team already. move them right in with the NYK for all i care. with that management, still won't change a thing.

They are comfortably making money I see no reason they should risk that by moving to a smaller market. I'm not familiar with LA, but i can understand being a White Sox supporter in a city full of Cubs fans. The Sox were talking about moving to FLA years ago and look at how those two teams draw down there.

The Sonics lost money or barely broke even for the last decade and they were not going to get a desperately needed stadium. Very adequate reason to move the team from the owner's perspective.
