This was an interesting MLB.com article. Looks like some D-Backs players could be up for grabs at the trade deadline. Any possible moves you guys could imagine happening?

I only see Conor Jackson, Chad Tracy, or Eric Byrnes being moved and with that said Jackson and Tracy are both on the DL. Maybe, they will move Garland to a contender looking for a back of the rotation filler who eats innings and has playoff experience.

Garland sucks.

So does the whole D-Backs roster...my point is.. they aren't going to trade anyone except for veterans, and I really don't know which team in their right mind would pick up a player. Garland seems like he's one of the only players that could really be dealt.

Dan Haren for Brett Gardner, and possibly Kei Igawa..only if the D'Backs eat salary though.

Ha...Ha

Felipe Lopez is most definitely getting traded. And he would bring a solid all around game to a contender. Small piece(s) needed most likely but look at this season and what he did being traded last season.

Dan Haren to the phillies for Carrasco, and marson as the main chips.

Dodgers need Haren.

Hand him over.

Haren isn't going anywhere besides the bathroom.

But its good to dream...

Dan Haren=Best pitcher in the MLB, other than Roy Halladay. Its a shame he's on a such a bad team, or he'd have about 12 wins this season.

:clap::clap:

Any rotation with Joe Blanton on it automatically makes me look for a "vomit" smiley as opposed to a "drool" smiley.

I think Johan has some say in that.

Hey now... Happ is doing damn good. 4-0 with a 3.57 era.
Blanton is right where he belongs... he is a good number 4.

Because Hamels and Haren would just be an insane 1-2 punch. Happ is doing pretty good in the 3 spot being 4-0 with a 3 plus era and Blanton is a pretty good number 4. Moyer is dreadful and I wish the Phillies would have let him go and signed Lowe when they had the chance. The reason this is drool worthy is because I am a phillies fan and our current rotation looks like this

Hamels
Happ
Bastardo
Blanton
Moyer

Having 2 rookies and a fossil in your rotation will not get you to the playoffs. Also if myers were to get back in September our rotation would look like this.

Hamels
Haren
Myers
Happ
Blanton.

That is a damn good 1-2-3 punch if myers comes back healthy. A lot of ifs but like I said... a guy can dream. Also Please take into account that when winning the world series our rotation was

Hamels
Myers
Blanton
Moyer
Kendrick.

Texas could be in on Garland or Davis. I would love to have Davis and Jackson in a deal.

I'm sure lopez and garland get traded, but I doubt we see the big names move. They gave up way to much for haren to trade him now, since he is still under control for a few more yeara I believe. You'll probally just see the mid level players move.

Harens not going anywhere, so quit dreaming guys. Davis, Garland, Tracy and Lopez will all be made available though. What do you think the market would be for Davis? He is having a good season so far
