Ya, to me he seemed to have to much of a bust potential to put in the top 14. But i could be wrong and he could do wonders for the team that drafts him.

not to sound like a dick but you obviously have only seen the sportscenter highlights of Curry.

The kid can actually create his own shot (which ive never seen house do) and is a really good distirbutor (i dont think ive seen house pass the ball). And he plays tough defense (need i say more?)

Why do you think the Kings will take Hill?

Because based on talent and upside, it was either Hill or Harden, and Harden duplicates Kevin Martin, the only true untouchable player on that roster. In all honesty they need a PG, but they should draft Hill and trade him, if anything. I just haven't heard anything about trades concerning the Kings.

I have heard that LAC is shopping Griffin, who would be a good fit on the Grizzlies. And Rubio wants to play in LA, so there you go.

NYC would give their proverbial right hand for Stephen Curry, and they can get sign and trade value for David Lee this way.

Chicago is rumored to want to trade up to ensure getting James Johnson, and are offering the #16 and #26 picks. Larry Bird traded down last year to get the player he wanted (Brandon Rush) and a couple of role players aside.

Actually the Kings are being mentioned in all kinds of trade scenarios. Teams interested in Rubio, Curry, and DeRozan are reportedly talking to them and they've spoken to Boston and Memphis about Rondo and the 2nd pick.

Geoff Petrie is full of surprises, but as a Kings fan and just a spectator, I don't see how they couldn't draft a point guard.

I was just curious so I looked:

In four years of college, Eddie House scored 2,044 points for Arizona State.

In three years of college, Stephen Curry scored 2,488 points for Davidson.

Eddie House was selected 37th in 2000 by the Miami Heat. There is another thread going right now about how the 2000 draft was the worst since the inception of the lottery.

Stephen Curry is almost garuanteed to be a lottery pick in a draft loaded with PG's. (If he falls to #13, I'd have a heart attack if the Pacers didn't take him)

I can't either. But to me, Hill would not be the best player available even if Rubio isn't there. After Griffin, Rubio, and maybe Thabeet, there's not much disparity in talent in this draft. Tyreke Evans, Steph Curry, Johnny Flynn, James Harden, Hill, Rubio, and Thabeet are all possibilities at 4th. The way some GMs are raving over guys like Evans, Curry, Flynn, and Harden, it's risky to try trading down to get one of those guys.

Okay... I wouldn't say having Durant at the 2 spot a hole. Drafting a sg is not something i believe would benefit the Thunder. The way i see it, you guys have holes at the PF and C. Just as IndyRealist said, if Thabeet is available, then you guys go after him, but i feel that he would be gone with the 2nd pick leaving the next best big man as Jordan Hill. You guys already have a prolific scorer in Durant and a ball handler in Westbrook.

Then, if you guys could pursue a player such as Zaza Pachulia, Rasho Nesterovic or if best comes to best Rasheed Wallace, you guys would have a pretty young and good lineup.

Durant is listed as a SG/SF. Jeff Green is like 6'9 but he fit the bill of a SF a la Hedo Turkoglu who is listed at 6'10. Plus referring to my point before, having to many ball handlers on the floor at one time wont work out to well for the team. With either Thabeet or Hill, they could play of the boards etc and get their points through those plays until they mold into NBA form.

I think Evans is a real stretch at 2. Memphis does like him and he played colege ball there. He could spell Conley and Mayo off the bench, so it'd be a good fit. But there's no way he'll be making more money than Rudy Gay or OJ Mayo(which he would under the rookie pay scale. I only see Evans in Memphis if they trade down (SAC perhaps?) to get something else in return.
