I was thinking, hes one of the best wings that are going to be free-agents this offesason. Hes opted out of the ETO i believe because Warriors practically forced him to. I wondering, which team do u believe he'll end up going to. Remeber, hes 29 and not going for MLE. Hes prolly going to be worth from $8m - $12m yearly.

So which team(s) do u think can use him, have the money for him, or will make a run for him?

Personally i want Raptors to let Marion walk and sign him. I want Raptors S&T Marion to Portland for Travis Outlaw. Then resign Delfino & Pops. Draft DeRozan. And lastly, sign Jamal Crawford who is a 20ppg scorer.

PG: Jose/Ukic
SG: Crawford/DeRozan
SF: Outlaw/Delfino
PF: CB4/Pops
C: Bargs/Evans

I see him as a taller version of Ben Gordon. With a killer crossover lol

Jamal's got a killer crossover.... and that's about it.

Take it from a Knicks fan whose watched him for a while. The dude sucks hard on D and is a chucker.

Atleast Ben Gordon can shoot the lights out. Jamal is just streaky.

He's worth the MLE and that's about it.

I love Crawford but he's inconsistent, a streaky shooter, and plays no defense

he wont opt out... he'll be lucky to get that $9,360,000 next year and the 10+ mill in 2010

where does it say he opted out?

He wont opt out, not on that kinda money when otherwise he'd make around the MLE. He'll probably get trade, hopefully for AK47

Ben Gordon is looking for that type of money and he is a much more reliable option. That being said, even Gordon may not be able to command that much in this economy. The most I would toss at Crawford would be the MLE. Any team who gives him more than that is dumb.

There is no way Crawford opts out. With that said, the Warriors are definately working the phones to try and trade him, but aren't trying to trade him without getting a good future or prsent asset in return. the Warriors will stick with him if they have to this year, and next year, when he's in the finaly year of his contract, his demand is going to be much greater since it'll be about 10 million that comes off the books.

He will not opt out of his contract. It'll be up to the Warriors to trade him. He's overrated and horribly inefficient, and he doesn't do anything else besides score.

Jamal is actually fairly decent on D. His biggest weaknesses is running into screens. He doesn't have the power to fight through the screen. If he bulked up a little, he coud be a solid defender. Also, his shot selection can be ridiculous sometimes, he really needs to stay under control. I could see him getting 7-8 mil maybe.
