Hey guys, Some of you may remember but I conducted a poll at the start of the season that had PSD users vote for the top 10 players at each position. I would like to start this up once more considering the NBA season is now over and we can get to this discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round...Enjoy.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best.

PG Rankings DONT FORGET TO VOTE!!

1) Chris Paul
2) Deron Williams
3) Chauncey Billups
4) Tony Parker
5)

Last Years PG rankings:

1) Chris Paul
2) Steve Nash
3) Deron Williams
4) Baron Davis
5) Tony Parker
6) Jason Kidd
7) Chauncey Billups
8) Gilbert Arenas
9) Jose Calderon
10) Andre Miller

I thought Nash should of been number 3 so I had to go with him here..

Yer has to be Nash, none of the others are on his level

Steve Nash even though he dropped a couple of spots he's still one of the best.

I am shocked that he has fallen this much. He is still one hell of a PG and IMO better than Parker or Billups.

Devin Harris. He put up incredible numbers this year, plus hes a good defender.

i agree, but the fact is most people look at his numbers and see they dropped off. These people dont realise terry porter made him dump the ball into shaq nearly every possesion.
then gentry took over and gave the reigns back to nash, his numbers went back up and the suns started to play much better

I'd say Nash. He's getting older, but is still a great PG.

Devin Harris. He is very good offensively and decent defensively. Nash is awful defensively and solid offensively.

we didnt make the playoffs cause porter took the team off nash and gave it to shaq, hardly nash's fault.
if it was gentry the whole year, suns make the playoffs no questons asked

Nash, next year though Rose will take his spot. This is the first thread i saw on the PG's, havent voted on the others, but looks like wut it should be.

Nash...he should actually be higher. I think he should be over Billups. Granted Billups is a better leader, but I think Nash is a better point guard.

Parker
Billups
Nash

Harris
Rose

Rondo
Nelson
Calderon
Miller
--drop off
The Rest. (Translation: too lazy to do every one)

And btw, everyone is forgetting about Arenas.

Nash should have been at least 3rd but he's not flavour of the month on PSD anymore. I guarantee any GM in the league would take him right after CP3 or DWill.

Who, Obama or SidTheKid? As for Sid, I think the reply means that the better leader should also be the better point guard. And Obama denying the legitimacy of Israel?

It is hard picking number 5... I think it will have to go to your preference... You want a scoring pg, go with Harris, you want a play maker, go with Nash, you want a little bit of everything, pick Rondo... If you want efficiency, go with Calderon... Oh, and there is Derrick Rose... A promising pg who could probably give Paul a run for his money in the next couple of years... I went with Rondo because I still can't get over what he did this playoffs...

I would never want Nash on my team. Sure, that is because I am biased towards wanting to build good defensive teams, but still.

I think Nash is the third best, let alone the 5th.

The Suns were 5 games better then the Bulls. If the Suns were in the east they would of had the 5th seed and been 1 game out of 4th. Not making the playoffs is hardly a reason to vote D Rose over Nash.

Mile High Champ - I think its time to add some PGs to this list that you missed.
Chris Duhon
Raymond Felton
Luke Ridnour
Gilbert Arenas
Ramon Sessions
Russell Westbrook
T.J. Ford
to name a few

no...he's denying the legitimacy of Israel's illegal settlements into lands that's suppose to be part of the Palestinians state as agreed up in pass treaties

back yea...back to the thread, I think we should just do a top 5 of all the positions instead of a top 10 like last year. Doing a top10 for all the positions is too long and tedious

i thought nash could have been higher, but im glad he wont be any lower than this. the way i see it, is out of the remaining players, who would you want taking the ball up the court and leading your team in the biggest game of your season? and for me its nash

I did say i was biase but besides the point. the bulls were 2-0 against the suns i got nothing against the suns and yes nash is a good PG i just think his game went down. D Rose has no one in his team but young guys who have potential and havent blossom. John Salmons is the only one who was stepping up(mostly no one has heard of him before this season.).

We did say for this season not for there career becuase if it was for career we both well put Billups,Nash, and kidd over cp3 and williams
