:) With me I was glad Reggie never signed with the Celtics. I would have felt good for him but it would have been eating me up inside.

Angry, because that would mean Duncan either signed with another team or was traded.

I am from Minnesota. KG was/is my favorite player of all time. And I was very happy for him. However, he won his ring, I again hate the Celtics, or any Boston team, haha

I'd be devastated if Manu played for another team next year, wether he wins a championship or not.

Really happy... I sure want the Mavs to win a championship but if they can't, I'd rather have Dirk go to another team to get one... He deserves a ring!

I am a Nets fan and idolize Jason Kidd's game. As of now I don't care where he goes as long as he wins a championship.

if it's your fav player, you should be happy regardless. But Jermaine O'Neal was my fav player a couple of years ago, and since I'm a knicks fan...him winning one with the Heat would be tough

Indy and the knicks where big rivals back in the 90s. So you liked him when he was with the Pacers.

Oh yeah... Kidd is too good to retire without a championship...

Well my favorite player is not on my favorite team. I'm an a HARDCORE Knicks fan, but Chris Paul is BY FAR my favorite player in the NBA.

Yeah I'm awhere of that. I was just saying they were rivals.

Maybe its just me but if Reggie would have went and played for the Knicks in the 2000s I couldn't have pulled for him. Even if the knicks weren't any good its still a rivalry imo.

i understand your point..it would help to mention i became a knicks fan sfter MJ retired in 98 (dont hold it against me fellow knicks fans), when the NY/MIA rivalry heated up, and the NY/IND died down a little

Acually in the early 2000s the Pacers Pistons had a bigger rivalry than the Pacer knicks like you said when it died down a little.

Hopefully the rivalry heats back up soon.;)

Good for him, as long as it's not with a rival. So as long as he doesn't win it with philly, knicks, or celtics im fine with that.

Bitter sweet I guess, happy for Kobe personally for winning again as a leader but bitter cuz it won't be with the Lakers to hang up # 16

Happened to me when Antoine Walker was traded to the Heat. I was rooting for them throughout the playoffs because of Antoine. Although if the Celtics were good that year, I might have felt kind of bad.

I'd be happy for them but it wouldn't be satisfying or anything.
