It is kind of absurd the number of injuries our pitching staff is going through.

Bro I feel you with injuries the Mets are down Reyes, Delgado, Maine, Perez, Putz, Wagner, Pagan all with injuries. Ill be rooting for the Jays to tread water and have Roy come back just as dominant as he was before he got hurt.

HOLY *******!

That's pretty much our rotation boys...all on the DL. Doc, McGowan, Marcum, and Litsch. One to go...who will it be?

haha I cant help but find it amusing. We now dont have one pitcher in out 5 man who was there last year.

Maybe they are pushing the young guys to much. Marcum,McGowan,Litsch,Janssen have all had long term injuries. Maybe there is a trend there and they need to watch it.

Nice...real nice you would rather get help like that as apposed to beating Roy the right way when the guy is fully healthy. (Not like the Yankees can beat Roy)

What kind of baseball fan are you that would be happy that a player is injured? Not sure if you lack a competitor's spirit but wouldn't you rather beat a team while they're at their best?

Don't worry I doubt he'll miss any game vs. the Yankees.

Jays from 2008 pitching depth

1.Halladay-injured
2. Burnett-Yankee
3. Marcum-injured
4. McGowan-injured
5. Litsch-injured
6. Janssen-injured
9 Romero-injured

Romero came back but even so he was injured just when he broke out.

As well as the closer Scott Downs is on the DL. Halladay DL stint should be short though since he got injured a while back and their referring to then

No one can beat Roy...

The Jays were supposed to be in serious trouble with those three (not sure exactly how many) other SPs on the DL, so they can probably get by without Roy for 2 or 3 starts.

I am not worried about Halladay, he will miss two starts. He said could have pitched saturday but thought it wasnt worth the risk.

Someone said downs is out up to 6 weeks? Is this for real cuz i didnt find anything that said he was out for 6 weeks.

I dont think thats right. He has a sprained big toe, 15 days should be more then enough.

Yikes. Tough blow, and he has been easily the best pitcher in the game right now. It will be interesting to see how he returns.

He's on my fantasy team too
