dude half of those things are impossible. For example the Lakers are over the cap, and can't afford to resign Ariza, and probably Odom, then go out and sign all those people. Why don't you do your research next time.

Nugs should re-sign the Birdman, let LK go (or S&T him), and only re-sign Carter and Jones if they'll play for the minimum again.

The problem with this free agent list is that a lot of these guys might not actually be free agents. For example Quentin Richardson. I believe he has an ETO (Early Termination Option), or some kind of player option. He's definitely going to play next year on the Knicks (barring a trade) because he can't get more money on the open market.

Very confused as to how the pistons who have some of the most cap room seem to be making no splash, yet the Lakers sign four big name FA's even though they are over the cap???

Bibby to the Magic? David Lee to Boston?

Orlando is pretty set at PG with that all-star they signed to a long deal named Jameer Nelson, and the backup they traded for named Rafer. And I'm pretty sure Beantown has their PF already.

Yeah. I was wondering too, why the MAGIC should get Bibby. Or even how they should get to pay him. But I see Alston leaving ... maybe. But, no chance the MAGIC can get Bibby ...

It's clearly obvious that Cali has no idea about sports, and the way a thing called the salary cap works, also he is just dreaming about what clearly is his favorite team aka the lakers would try to do on a video game that he is playing.Even then those moves wouldn't b able to be pulled off, so that guy is clearly just an idiot.

Yea he's definitely playing 2k9 without the Salary Cap activated.

I think Alston will be leaving Orlando since he could start for another team and make a little more money as well. I wouldn't mind bringing Andre Miller to Miami. May be a nice fit alongside Chalmers.

i made a list in like 2 minutes you morons. Take a minute and make a list, i doubt you could come up with an exact list in that time. Some of those signings will happen, some wont, im not going to go out of my way and do hours of research to come up with a list to impress you people.....i could care less what you think.

Yea pistons will prob sign more F/A i forgot they had that much cap.... and it is very likly the Lakers will make a lot of moves. I am by no means a laker fan, i hate that team. But it is stupid to say they will not make moves when players would love to play with Kobe and have a chance to win a championship. Kobe is also going to opt out so they can sign these players.

Cali the biggest moves LA are going to make are trying to re-sign Ariza and Odom they won't even bother looking into the free agency cause they got all pieces to repeat and signing Boozer (which is pretty pointless) would cause chemistry problems.

The Clippers should sign Trevor Ariza and I'll be a happy man.

PG - B. Davis/M. Taylor
SG - E. Gordon/R. Davis/M. Collins
SF - T. Ariza/A. Thornton
PF - Z. Randolph/B. Griffin/S. Novak
C - M. Camby/C. Kaman/D. Jordan

I like the roster, just a few minor adjustments (trading Ricky Davis & Chris Kaman) and I like the Clippers chances of making the playoffs.

No i understand that it would b hard to come up wit a list in a short amount of time but the fact that you think the lakers will sign boozer, sheed, kidd and another player when they can only sign player contracts up 2 5.58 million dollars, which might b enough 2 sign kidd,or maybe sheed, but there is no way in hell that they get Boozer to sign a mid-level exemption.

If Kobe Bryant took $0 of his $23M he's owed next year, the Lakers would still be at $51M in salary before signing Odom or Ariza. The cap is going to be around $57M. So even if Odom and Ariza took $3M each, which is unlikely, the Lakers STILL couldn't get any free agents aside from using the MLE. Tacking on an extra minute of research to the two minutes it took you to write your list might have saved you a headache or two.

I read today that several sources expect Ben Gordon to sign with Detroit and that he could get $10+ a year.

Sounds rediculous to me. Why would the Pistons need a shooting guard while they have Richard Hamilton, Rodney Stuckey and those other productive combo guards (Bynum and Afflalo)? And for that much money?

To trade Rip Hamilton and/or Tayshaun Prince, I'd imagine. Tayshaun Prince to the Clippers for Chris Kaman, straight up. Rip would handle the ball since neither Stuckey or Gordon are true PG's.

Detriot
PG - Rodney Stuckey
SG - Ben Gordon
SF - Rip Hamilton
PF - Carlos Boozer ?
C - Chris Kaman

LAC
PG - Baron Davis
SG - Eric Gordon
SF - Tayshaun Prince
PF - Blake Griffin
C - Marcus Camby

Or they could do Prince + Kwame Brown for Zach Randolph.
