Why not?

They are not the celtics and are pretty damn young still. If they keep the current squad together. (at least the core) they will be competing for a title the next 5 years at the very least.

If Bynum develops into the player we Laker fans saw for those stretches then LA can easily be in the mix.

In the west the Blazers, Houston and LA Lakers(usual suspect) are the west's elite for the next 5yrs(Denver is a tough out but I dont know if they will be able to keep up with the other 3 in yrs to come).

In the east Orlando will be there for awhile but Miami might put something together by the next yr to get them in position to contend for the long run but alot depends on where Lebron(Cleveland if he stays) and Bosh land( especially if one of them is teamed with someone like Wade)

The Blazers are my team but I do think besides the Lakers the Blazers can and will win multiple titles in the near future, they'll gonna get upgraded even more this offseason and should be ready to start contending for the title!

Lakers can 3peat which would give them 2 in the next decade to start off...maybe a blockbuster trade in 6 years will bring an older veteran to kobe similar to what the celtics did and give LA a chance at a couple more rings so it quite possibly go to the Lakers again but who knows i wouldnt bet money on it

 :sigh:

Highly disputable, but I'm not going to have that argument again.

If you really don't understand the case to be made for the Spurs, then search this forum for the many debates that have already gone down about this. As I said, I'm not going to get into it again.

the you should talk abotu the suns being the 90s teams because of all the 50+ wining seaons.

its not like Lakers got 4 rings and 6 lottery years.

4 rings + 2 finals + a conference finals. thats of course better than 3 rings and a lot of 50+ seasons....

um its me or lakers hae had more 60 win seasons in teh decade than spurs too?
