I agree, we don't wanna be a .500 team, we wanna be a contender and I do believe this team is headed in that direction. I'm guessing we will soon be discussing the trades of LaRoach, Wilson, and Sanchez.

The mets or giants could definitely use LaRoche. The SS/2B positions are always weak so Wilson and Sanchez should have some market. I thought they could have gotten more for McLouth, but there should be more specs flowing in soon.

Thats what I was thinking too. Once we learn more about them, we can have better evaluations of the trade.

Well we learned fairly quick yesterday that Charlie Morton can get injured after only 1 inning of work... hope we didn't get damaged goods ;)

As a Met fan, that trade was terrible. There was no reason to trade him. They did not need to make room for the new kid. An outfield of Morgan,Mclouth, and Mccutchens would be so good. nothing would drop. As far as the prospects, they were all top prospects ,but were on the decline in the majors. or leveled off. Gorky hernandez?please

Well Morton killed it tonight, and Hernandez is the real deal.
