So, like the title says, which intro do you think is better in the finals? The Orlando Magics or the LA Lakers?

Orlando's, the Lakers announcer is just so boring.

The both suck.

Cleveland and Boston's are by far the two best.

I'm not asking you which intro is the best in the entire NBA. I'm asking between these two.

Lakers, their announcer is legendary and their intro is never too flashy or too boring, they keep it simple and classy, but still fun to watch.

this isnt even debateable. The Lakers have the most boring and worst PA announcer in the history of professional or collegiate or high school sports, and the Magic have hot cheerleaders falling from the Ceiling.

Magic win this in a landslide

Sheesh. Sorry for breaking the rules dude...

Call me biased, but I think Lawrence Tanter of the Lakers takes this one in a runaway. The game isn't supposed to be about some clown shouting at the fans. Tanter just introduces the players (in his smooth, jazzy voice) and does his job. I also like the stuff they play before the intros. They're not a team that's going to really intimidate people, but showing some stuff with Laker legends could help to make a young team like Orlando nervous.

Orlando's intro just irritates me. They have that guy at center court wearing a suit that must have been bought in 1990, then they switch to being intimidating with the intense music and highlights, then they have a fluffy crocodile coming in from the rafters and ringing an air-raid siren

I don't think this really needed such a long answer, but there you go...

Nick Anderson introduced the Orlando Magic.

Epic fail. Nick Anderson was probably shaking on the sidelines while watching the game in over time.

How can you top Orlandos? They end all introductions with Nick the Brick.

yeah, chicago stadium was crazy, the bulls intro in the 90's is the best in nba history, right now they have a diffrent one but similar to the old one and IMO is the best is still the best in the nba

Thank you. I said that in the game thread and got these same guys saying the same things they are saying here. I love that giant sheet that serves as a projection screen and the music they play at that point is very intense and ominous. Then the music changes to that gay song and the announcer sounds like he is on valium. Then the series shifted to Orlando. It is a little over the top but I don't mind. Hot chicks falling out of the sky sounds awesome to me and their music is good the whole way through. I also like the echo effect they use in Orlando when saying the players' names.

Neither have anything on Ray Clay and the Bulls in Chicago Stadium.

He speaks the truth.

Well, it does get boring having to listen to "requiem for a dream" everytime. They had it for the celtics last season in the finals, and now the magic. They are overusing such a great tune.

The Lakers have their own unique way of introducing their players.
