Yahoo-Eurosport is reporting that the Knicks and Blazers have a deal in place for almost a month that would see Sergio Rodriguez being dealt to the Knicks on Draft night.

No word yet on the other pieces involved in the deal, but even if it is already set in stone, the Knicks don’t necessarily think they’re going to be all set at the point with Sergio in the mix. We know that they are planning on bringing in some mix of Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, Jonny Flynn, and Steph Curry to workout against each other in the next week or so.

Just thought that you Knick fans would want to know.

Didn't Nate Robinson want to play for the blazers? He will probally be involved.

Should be interesting to see how this unfolds. I guess Sergio could be a decent PG for the Knicks after Duhon.

I guess Jerryd Bayless is the official backup PG now

a knick source denied a deal was done, that have been askin about Sergio last year and the blazers do like Stephen Curry, so some pieces fit for a deal, but officially, nothing has been agreed upon.

From what I hear in this thread,

it's some variation of

Nate, and #8 for Sergio (who isn't worth either of the two) and ?

Sounds like there's a lot missing.

i like sergio, but not for 8 and nate. i know sergio is unhappy there, but i like bayless as well. portland has a few nice pg's there, so they will probably try to move one, but as a knicks fan, i was hoping to get more from trading nate away than sergio. nate is still young himself, i think 25, and sergio will be 23 this week, plus what do we do with duhon then? this is going to be a big few weeks for knicks fans leading up to and through the draft.

The deal can't be for anything big if it involves Sergio. I always wanted him to be the starting point guard for the Blazers. I think they'll try to sign a talented veteran, and make Steve Blake the back-up point guard.

I hope they can find a way to ship Lee and Nate to Portland and sergio and RUdy to Knicks.

I also think Sergio woudl be the best back up possible if they finally make a sucesfull move for rubio.
