Will Phil Jackson be more remembered for his success with the Chicago Bulls?

or with the Los Angeles Lakers?

I don't have the numbers in front of me but I think he has coached the same amount of years for both

The Bulls-Jackson legacy is unbeatable. It was complete dominance, and only interrupted by MJ's brief retirement. For lots of reasons, the 00's Lakers just haven't had the same dominance over their era.

^ Exactly. But its not like the three peat won't be a part of his legacy. Only reason people would remember his reign with the Lakers first would be if they equaled or surpassed the amount of titles he won with the bulls, but that means he would have to win another 3 ships with the Lakers, unlikely as he will probably retire after next season.

2 threepeats, 6 titles with the Bulls. Only interrupted by MJ's retirement.
1 threepeat, 3 titles with the Lakers.

Jackson had more success with Chicago, however what he has done with the Lakers is remarkable as well. He was able to coach an early 00's lakers' team to 3 straight titles and now he's on the verge of leading a different cast of characters with the exception of Kobe and Fisher to another title.
