i honestly cant see any team even giving him a minimum deal, he has proven this year that he's detrimental to winning

I see him as a good fit for the Bobcats, but they may not want to go in that direction. Hard to tell, let's see how the rest of free agency goes down - I think he'll be signed later in the offseason after teams have missed out on the guys they really wanted.

Bobcats but don't even know if that will happen cuz of the positive strides this young team has made. Iverson would prolly just halt that for however long he is there. I can't even name many other teams that will sign him if he wants to actually start and score.

A.I. is gonna find himself sayin' Bye Bye if he doesn't change his attitude. He needs to let go of the fact that he mattered once upon a time. The funny thing is, he can still be an affective player. But he wants HOF/All star Treatment....Lest he changes his attitude, dude is gonna find himself kickin it wit Smush Parker at whatever park they play in!!!!

Thunder? T-Wolves? Warriors? I doubt the first 2 cause of the damage it could cause on their youth, but you never know what Golden State is thinkin

Charlotte wouldn't pick AI up imo.

Raymond Felton,D.J Augustin are both small and can score. Add AI and you have the shortest collection of gurads in the NBA I believe.

I see them looking for a SG but not AI. They need a young SG to build on.

Knicks Dantoni system suits iverson well. Gives players a lot of freedom, he can start, free to play no d unless he wants. Iversonns wet dream imo

I think he ends up in Charlotte.

I don't think so... DJ was hand picked by Larry Brown... There is no way they will let him go for AI... Unless they want to play a very very small lineup with a 5'11 pg and a 6'0 sg...

Indiana, Sacramento, Milwaukee could all use him to put some buts in the seats.

how about boston? get rid of marbury and have ai backing up rondo. i see that as an improvement. but again, only if he accepts the role as a backup

Why would Denver want him? We got rid of that cancer for a reason.

What if he buys into your system? He loved it there.

No, because we have JR Smith who has a lotta upside. Don't get me wrong, I loved watching AI in Denver but he won't really improve our team because we don't need his scoring. We already have JR at the 2 and Chauncey at the 1. And he doesn't really want to come off the bench.

You know. That might actually happen not because you guys don't have a SG but due to financial reasons. AI has a huge fanbase and lack of fan support is the problem the Hornets are having. AI's a real marketable player. Besides, AI can create his own shot and score in bunches. Thats something the Hornets lack. And the Hornets' system doesn't really rely on ball movement, lot of isos and pick-n-rolls. Only problem would be that having Chris Paul and AI in the backcourt would be a nightmare defensively.

Coach Killer!
Though not a bad guy, teams he has left have done better w/o him. Billups success in Denver really will hurt his legacy but it's his fault. He should have come off the bench or done whatever his coach asked of him. But he couldn't even do that. Then the ultimate, the guy who never gave up despite injuries, shut it's down and leaves his team hanging.

He needs a last shot with a good team. I just don't know who. His style of play does not really fit any contending team. Even if there is a desperate enough team out there, as a coach, do you want a guy whose whole career is filled with player/coach feuds?
