Please note:
During the last game, we had problems with
Nuggets fans going into the Lakers Forum and baiting, and
Lakers fans going into the Nuggets Forum and baiting.

BY NOW IT SHOULD GO WITHOUT SAYING THAT
THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AT PSD,
AND THE RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

So please, everybody on all sides, just don't do it. Thank you.

Man Kobe is going to be in killer mode tonight, should be very fun to watch. The Nuggets need a win badly. Chauncey has yet to have a great game and Melo needs to recover from his mini meltdown in the last one

I'd like to continue rooting for the Nuggets but without Billups coming to play (for the series, not for one measely game if it happens to be tonight) it's kinda pointless. Carter and Jones are just awful. I know Carter doesn't play a lot of minutes but when's he's in the game he really sticks out. The Lakers will probably close out the series in 6.

There's a few drops of blood in the water and the shark is coming. Kobe knows they're on the ropes and a loss tonight will end it. I can't imagine him having anything less than the best game of the playoffs for him and I'm sure he's let all the other guys know how important this game is. They win, it's over in 5. If they lose, it could go 7. This is why it's good to have the most cold blooded killer in the NBA. He knows they're hurt after all the talk of going back to Denver and stomping LA, so it's time to put the foot on the throat. If LA hits most of their FT this time and the calls are relatively even at the end of the game, LA wins by 10+. They won the last game by 6 after missing 15 FT, so it could be worse if they've given up mentally.

haha, what did the Nuggets possibly have to bait about last game?

They are really going to have to get their emotions in check if they want to stand any chance in this game, but I think it will go back to LA 2-2

Draco

lol @ Kobe being described as a cold blooded killer and LA putting a foot on Denver's throat. Right, the same team that can't maintain a 15 point lead and the same player who has 4 Flagrants and demonstrably complains everytime he gets stripped of the ball.

They might go back to LA 2-2 but I wonder what difference that makes. The Nuggets have had opportunities to take control of this series (particularly game 1) and they came up short. That's a trend I think continues to an ultimate series loss. These teams are really close.. but if Gasol's scoring efficiently and having double doubles then Billups can't afford to have 2 sub par games.

Yeah, you did notice him in Game 1 and 3 hit the FT that put them down right. Plus, a PLAYER can't keep a lead. You know that and are just making an insane argument. Plus, he needs to complain. LeBron get's a ball knocked out of his hand and it's a foul. Kobe gets both arms knocked straight down and magically it's a clean strip.

I don't see Kobe letting the Lakers lose tonite. Lakers take this game and end it in 5. Nuggets blew it last game with the lead for the big majority of the game as well as constant missed free throws by the Lakers. Game 3 showed how DEN can go back to their negative emotional ways.

More to the point of the previous post, I don't see Kobe as a cold blooded killer. I also don't see the Laker's as unbeatable, they should have and probably would have lost to a healthy Rockets team. Had the Celtics been healthy they might have repeated. The Nuggets also aren't far off from the Laker's. The first two games were evenly played with the Lakers winning Game 1 mostly on luck. And I think the Blazers have the most stacked roster in the league.

How do you call it luck? They played a team that was on fire and hung in long enough to take the win when it mattered. That's not luck. Luck is hitting a fallaway three with one second. They could have very easily gotten killed with how good Denver played. Instead, they hung in there and took it. That's not luck.

If Garnett and Boston were healthy, they would have swept Chicago like cocaine at a whore house.Portland is good but they too lost to an unhealthy Houstan team.Los Angeles is the best and most talented team in the league. Its just hard for people to accept that they win 3-5 titles every decade while teams cross their fingers to be in the playoffs 1 year during that span. The league is delaying the inevitable...like my boy referenced during game 3 "just let it happen".

I am so hyped for the game tonight. The only thing is I get so nerved up its hard to enjoy until the games over. Well that is if the Lakers win.

It should be a interesting game. The Nugs have to win to avoid losing in 5 and going back to LA for the clincher. And the Lakers need to make this a statement game letting everyone know they are ready to win it all.

My prediction is Lakers will win and Pau will have a huge game. But if they fail this series is going 7.

Knocking down game winner after game winner after game winner and being called by almost all as the greatest closer by a mile in the game today and he's not a cold blooded killer? I was curious how the game was going to be called, and with no suprise the Nuggets will be attempting there 9th and 10th FT allready. If the reffing stays this good the entire game, I'll be amazed. I just think it's funny they band in the post and then a feather touch will get called. It makes it really hard on the players. Plus, Melo is sucking and that's always good.

NFLNBA
05-25-2009, 09:43 PM
Again they call that little breeze bump by Walton and on the last play Kobe gets contact with Martin but there was a no call. I bet you anything they call the foul if he missed that shot

All we ask for is consistancy on both ends! If you gonna let them play then let them play ans let all the PLAYERS play that way, and if your gonna call little bumps and pushes then the whole game needs to be like that!

Also remember the Nuggets shot more FT's then any team in the NBA, both Billups and Melo ave 8 FT attmepts a game in the playoffs. Billups everytime he shoots moves his body into the defender and the refs never learn

K-Mart is having a stellar game. It's not only his best game of the postseason, it's probably his best rebounding game of the entire season.

I think a lot of NBA fans really underestimate the depth of the Nuggets. K-Mart's not the All-Star he used to be, J.R.'s not quite there yet either, although Nene probably is. A lot of guys, though, who don't grab the headlines game in and game out but who can step up on any given night.

Not as dirty as Kobe throwing his shoulder into K-Mart in Game 1 and knocking him down. (Which he didn't get called for, either, but it should have been a T or flagrant).

R u serious dude? Now i know not to take anything u say serious because i remember that play they both came out of that play hurt. Kobe throwing his shoulder into Kmart? Did you even see the play? His momentum carried him forward and had nowhere to go. Yeah that's the same as pushing a guy in the back mid-air and tripping him. Homer

Absolutely. Most unnoticed flagrant of this series. Download the game and re-watch it. Kobe clearly drives his shoulder straight into K's chest to knock him down. But he's craftly like that so most of his dirty plays don't get called (like his elbow on Battier).

i wonder why a player games suspended for making a hard foul. but the referees never get suspended for making some horrible calls. for example the play when the player from the mavericks made a foul on carmelo and jumps for a 3 point and cost the mavericks 1 game. the referees should be held responsable for some of the horrible calls.

Yeah they do. Joey Crawford got suspended for his phantom tech on Duncan last year. The refs are scrutinized and re-evaluated every offseason.

All this refs are favoring Denver stuff needs to stop. In 3 of the 4 games so far Denver has played beeter than LA. The refs are not getting offensive rebounds for Denver and putting up second chance points. That's what's killing the Lakers the who series. Denver is outplaying them. Stop whining about the refs.

Damn refs made the Lakers turn the ball over right there. Bastards.
