What are your thoughts on him? Should the kings possibly pick him? Would he fit in well?

that high,no.trade down or back in the draft to take him.you guys need a pg but at 4 its a reach and you'd be kicking yourselves for not taking bpa(hill, thabeet, ect.)

I don't understand the whole concept of trading down at all. If there is a player available that you want at your pick, why not just take him?

Imo, it makes sense.

You need some depth at PG.

I still don't understand why you gave that fat contract to Udrih, though.

If you trade down, you can potentially add value (extra pick/player/etc) AND still get the player you wanted with the original higher pick.

Yeah, soon you'll have a very expensive 2nd PG.

That contract makes him untradeable.

That's exactly who I'd pick if I were the Kings. It depends on how high you are on the Hawes/Thompson duo.

I take him if rubio doesn't fall. He may not have a big impact as soon as he arrives, but he'll be good in a few years. Pass on harden, he's not what the kings need.

I love the Hawes/Thompson duo. They are starting to develop some chemistry between the two of them.

Brandon Jennings is the best point guard in the draft behind Rubio. The Kings need a point guard. The answer is obvious. They will still be in trouble, due to a lack of size. They need to trade either Hawes or Thompson for a real center.

Kings' Starting Five:
C - Spencer Hawes
PF - Justin Thompson
SF - Francisco Garcia
SG - Kevin Martin
PG - Brandon Jennings.

I gotta ask, as a Kings fan, how did you react when Beno got that big contract?
Cause I would've been pissed.

might sound nice...but that duo is getting you nowhere in the nba...

especially with hawes...

thompson looks like he'll be alright, but hawes not so much

Judging from the market for a starting PG, there was absolutely nothing available.

Udrih played well for us (the assist numbers were very low, but he was solid)... then the contract comes.

My first reaction that it was fine considering who was available at PG, and that he had in fact been playing solid.

Once the season started, after the first few games, you knew the contract was going to haunt us. He was absolutely garbage, and just got worse and worse.

That's 7', 6'11'', 6'7', 6'7'', 6'1''. Doesn't seem like a lack of size to me. And Hawes is a real center.
