What teams would you like to see end up with the top three picks out of the lottery teams in this yrs draft and what players they should select and a lottery team that you would like to see have little success and why.

I would like to see the Pacers get the #1 pick(poor S.O.B.'s need a bit of luck once in a while and would give them a nice 1/2 punch with Granger and Griffin).

Clippers and Twolves with the 2 and 3 picks(make the west even tougher)

Team Id like to see slip out of the top 3 spots is OKC (Hey Im a blazer fan, what do you expect) just because they will be really tough if they get a top 3 pick:smoking:

phoenix, for obvious reasons.

for other teams i agree with you id like to see the pacers or kings with the number 1 pick.

I want the Clips to get Rubio
I really like that kid. I'm not a Clipper fan, but I do live in L.A.
I would pay to go see him :D

I want to see the knicks get the no. 1 pick. having ny back in the mix as a playoff team would be nice.

Who do you think PHX would take with the first pick. Personally I think they would draft Griffin and then trade down with whom ever chose Rubio or Thabeet. Rubio or Thabeet make more sense because Nash and Shaq are getting kinda old and they do have Amare already.

If Phoenix gets a top 3 pick, that would make for some interesting decisions this summer by Sarver and Kerr.

Aside from the Suns which is extremely unlikely, I'd like to see:

Bobblehead Cats #1
Knicks #2
Wizards #3.

Usually I'd put the Clips in there but they never get their drafts right so I'd rather not see them waste a big time pick.

If we got the #1 pick, the most likely scenario would be drafting Griffin, trading Amare for youth/role players/pics. We'd probably be sacraficing the season but it's all in the name of the future.

If we got the #2 pick, we'd draft Rubio. This would probably lead us to only picking up Nash's team option and not extending him. Assuming he shows signs that he'll be a stud, then let Nash go next year and use the freed up cap money for role players.

If we got the #3 pick, It'd likely be a toss up between Hill and Thabeet. Thabeet probably would be the guy so we have Shaq's replacement and someone to battle with Fro-Lo for the starting spot.

There's a rumor that I'm making up right now that has the Suns dealing Lou Amundson to the team with the #1 pick for said pick. Then that team would buy him out and we'd resign him. Pretty crazy, but hey, I've been wrong on my speculations only 100% of the time :)

1. Pacers - They should not move
2. Kings
3. Wizards - Not sure who they would pick though. Maybe Thabeet

the teams with the worst 3 records should have the first 3 picks

1. OKC- I love the Thunder. Durant is a future star and he went to UT. Imagine this line up
Griffin
Green
Durant
Sefolosha
Westbrook

2. Knicks- I love the knicks, too. If they got Ricky Rubio and signed back David Lee and Nate Robinson (and also, Al Harrington would be nice) they will be in the playoff race.

3. Kings- This was a tough decision between the Wizards and Kings. I realized, though, that the if the Wizards (Gilbert Arenas) are able to stay healthy then they can fight for a playoff spot. Arenas, Butler, Jamison. Thats a very good big 3. Sacramento has Kevin Martin and... nobody else. They need some help

Im a 76ers fan but feel like the league is not the same with the Knicks being a disgrace.

How many teams would swap situations with the OK Thunder right now? I bet 90% of the league would rather be in the Thunders shoes then where they are as a franchise. That list would include the Spurs,Mavs,76ers,Jazz,Suns, and a few of the other big boys (not that the 76ers a big boy team, we are stuck in a never ending cycle of being an average to slightly below average team)

I would also like to see Memphis turn into a young and fun team to watch for the next few years. So my order would be....

1. NY Knicks
2. OKC Thunder
3. Memphis Grizzlies

warriors - best fans in the NBA.
youngest team in the nba... they're in need of a superstar... and they're only a couple players away from competing for a playoff spot.

knicks - knicks are good for basketball...

OKC - young and talented team... they have a superstar in kevin durant and they're only a couple players away from competing for a playoff spot.

Thunder #1 and take Griffin
Washington #2 and take Thabeet
Twolves #3 and take Rubio

It would be nice to see the Sacremento Kings get the pick, because they're just pathetic; same with the Clippers.

I wonder what the wizards would do if they got the first pick because you hear so much about them and concerns about the cap.

I think they would be one of those teams that could be something with the big 3 they already have and one of the big 3 in the draft(Rubio,Griffin or Thabeet), and healthy of course.

But on the other hand Id rather see the Bobcats get lucky and land Thabeet so they could move their other former Uconn star (Okafor) to power forward.
With the addition of Thabeet I could really see them become a serious contender!

honestly, I hope the clips don't get a top 5 pick. No top prospect should be doomed to go there. It's where careers go to die.

3 - Washington - Thabeet

I think you got #1 right but 2 and 3 I would switch. Toronto needs a Center, they have Calderon at the point. Washington has Hayward as the big which is not good but they have no one at point after Arenas gets hurt.

Knicks deserve some luck after the Isiah/Layden/Dolan debacle.
Sacramento needs to become revelant in the West again, can't get it done with only K-Mart and possibly Hawes + Thompson.
Thunder don't need to get younger but having either Griffen or Thabeet would be huge for them and the West.
