Is this the first year that the Showdown runner up has also made it into the AS Race field? Meh, I just hope Jr. finishes where he starts, I know a Top 5 points wise won't count but maybe it could help him build some momentum anyway!

I hate this All-Star ****, but for some reason I'll watch anyways. I got nothing better to do tonight.

Kyle is the only reason this is exciting at all.

This whole thing is just so ****ing dumb. I've watched for 4 hours and seen, what, 135 laps so far? I've seen like 20 straight laps of racing at once?

And these "all-stars," which include a kid who has 6 career starts and Bobby labonte, a guy who hasn't been relevant in 5 years, are the same ones that race every week.

And why not switch up which track this is at each year? At a place like Lowe's, the same cars and drivers are going to be good every time. Why not give 20 drivers 75 laps to race for a million bucks at a place like Bristol?

And one more thing... one of the people on SPEED said that this was NASCAR's biggest day of the year. Are they idiots? What about the Daytona 500? And if this was so big, it wouldn't be on SPEED....

I agree with ya 100% on all your points Driven. Every sports All-Star game or event is complete bull $h**. I'm not a Kyle hater, in fact I like him because he reminds me a lot of Dale Sr.He's not afraid to race anybody and the kid can flat out drive and yes he did make this race exciting. It's too bad he didn't win.

Congrats to Smoke and his # 14 Office Depot team.

he is they guy us, the fans voted in. Bobby has won a Championship within the past 10 years which is an automatic entry into the field.

If you do it at more than one track, you have to do it all of them. You cant say yes to some tracks and no to others. The All-Star race at Pocono or Michigan.. hmmm Lowe's is just fine.

There has been only 1 instance where the same driver won this in consecutive years: Davey Allison in 1991 and 1992. Also do you think just by switching the track will really have a huge influence on who runs well? so thats not a very strong argument

Ah, thanks I went to this race like 3-4 years in a row up until like 2 years ago and I haven't paid a whole lot of attention to the first race since Congrats to Sm0ke, my 2nd favorite driver!!:)
