Both the Lakers and Cavs have won 65+ games this year. Here is the history of teams that have won 65+ games.

11 of them won NBA titles and 2 have not.

66-67 Sixers
70-71 Bucks
71-72 Lakers
82-83 Sixers
85-86 Celtics
86-87 Lakers
91-92 Bulls
95-96 Bulls
96-97 Bulls
99-00 Lakers
'07-08 Celtics
'08-09 Lakers

72-73 Celtics -> lost to title Knicks in 7 games
'06-07 Mavericks -> lost to Warriors in 6 games.
'08-09 Cavaliers -> lost to Orlando in 6 games

Whatever happens this year, at least one of these teams of the Lakers and Cavs will fall in the boat of not winning the title while winning 65+ games .

So you're saying whenever the Lakers win 65 games in a season, the win the title. :D

No, I think he's saying that the Cavaliers have never lost in the playoffs after winning 65+ games in a season. :D

Wow, way to follow a couple of harmless jokes with an unnecessary attack.

Both 65 win teams are in the conference finals this year. This is generally where 65+ win teams face there toughest challenge.

Thats a great club to be a part of, especially when you look at the makeup of that team

2 allstars, a former DPOY player, along with 3 former allstars (Big Ben, Wally, Big Z)

you cant be serious with that.. Big Ben is about to retire since he has nothing left, wally should retire because he has nothing left and BIg z is 34 years old.. This team would win 25-30 games without lebron

The Cavs need a lot of help in restructuring their team. Otherwise all the cleveland fans better get ready to wave goodbye to Lebron.

ONCE AGAIN Kenny, ANy team with out their best player will win less games.
Without Lebron they would have losing seasons u are correct. But in those losing seasons, lets see who they could have got. 2007-2008 they could have gotten the second pick and drafted Durant. If they would have had another losing season they could have picked up one of the rookies in the great class of 2008-2009. Maybe even the first pick of Derrick Rose. They might would be better off with a team like that. In years b4 that they could have gotten good players. Not Lebron caliber but they might could have selected a better team. This year they could get Blake Griffin if they would have won 25 to 30 games.
