Not counting tonight, Mears looks like he's starting to get comfortable in that 07 car. I still wish it was Clint though..

how so? He just spun out at Darlington. A former cup champion just spun out by himself, the three time defending champion spun out by himself during qualifying, this track isnt a breeze to get around

He gets little to no time to adjust to a cup car, and now after getting a year under his belt, you can obviously see that hes catching on

I really think they are going to have to split him and his cousin crew chief up, Mark is making him look really bad by what he's doing now that he's got good equipment and Jr. is well still being Jr.:(

No lol I meant Mark Martin, he was never bad or anything in the last few years at a declining D.E.I. he was close but couldn't get over the edge. Now he goes to Hendrick and has found Victory Lane twice, that is no coincidence, but we could add Brad K in as well, but Dale, Jr. is Brad's mentor!

Yea, I mean Brad has won a race in a Hendrick rental car, and now in his first cup start at Darlington he finishes 7th with a part-time crew and part time car. I'm telling you if junior dont pick it up, I think he might not be in that car much longer.. I think Rick is realzing the mistake he made by getting rid of an extremely talented young driver in Kyle Busch that would have eventually taken over the reigns at the #1 man at the team, and I honestly dont think he would be willing to let that happen with Brad Keselowski

I don't see that happening, he knows Jr. personally too well to just give up on him, I think he will just try and wait for Martin to eventually retire and then enter Keselowski.

He's said he wants to run cup full time next year, a win and a top 10 at the toughest track(to most) on the circuit, his youth and sponsor-likeable personality increases his interest greatly. I know he said he wants to stay at the place that got him to the level, but if Hendrick can't find him a ride on one of their sister teams, Joe Gibbs im sure would be happy to put him in the 4th car they want to field, DEI/Ganassi might make a push for him. I'm telling you Rick Hendrick knows he shot himself in the foot by getting rid of Kyle, he doesnt want to let Brad walk, and let another young talented driver that will/could be the face of the organization get way from him, and be stuck with no developmental drivers, and 4 guys that are either in or over their mid 30's.

I know he know's he made a mistake with Kyle, but i'd certainly hope so. I don't want this to happen at all unless Jr. goes to RCR.
