( 1 ) Cleveland Cavaliers (66-16) vs. ( 4 ) Atlanta Hawks (47-35)

Cleveland Cavaliers will have the Homecourt Advantage

Cleveland Leads Series 1-0 Series Breakdown

Game 2 Thurs May 7th Atlanta @ Cleveland 8 PM EST ESPN (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/preview?gid=2009050505)

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP)—Arms flailing, fists pumping, a crazed look behind those designer eyeglasses, Cleveland coach Mike Brown nearly jumped out of his suit.

A few feet away, Cavaliers reserve forward Wally Szczerbiak(notes) was sprawled on the Quicken Loans Arena floor after taking a charge against Atlanta’s Marvin Williams(notes) in the third quarter of Cleveland’s 99-72 win over the Hawks on Tuesday night.

Brown wanted to rush out to Szczerbiak, pick him up and maybe plant a kiss on his cheek. Same for LeBron James(notes), who moments earlier let Joe Johnson(notes) run him over in the foul lane at full speed, drawing a charge and stopping a 2-on-1 break.

To Brown, those selfless plays are more thrilling than any dunk or length-of-the-court buzzer beater.

however one of my favorite players better show up: JOE JOHNSON. mr so called underrated better bring that scores mentallity he has a tendency to leave in Atlanta.

If Hawks run the break, they should be very competitive.

This game is out of hand. The Hawks are banged up, but the guys who are playing aren't even hustling. I will admit Smith has been fouled a few times when it wasn't called, but he isn't going back on D after the no-calls. That is giving the Cavs 5 on 4 fast breaks. That kills your team.

Don't go to far buddy, they haven't accomplished anything.

Don't go too far yourself. Best record, individual MVP, first round sweep, 6-0 playoffs . . .

It's no reason to annoint them anything or call it anything more than it is, but don't be stupid. By your logic, no current team in the NBA has accomplished anything.

I think to make this series fair, the hawks should be able to dress 6 players on the court...haha
