Lets hope for another good game, boys.

It was tough to watch when you guys were up by 20+, but the 4th quarter sure was fun to watch. I like how both teams played pretty classy in the first game. I don't want to see confrontation like the Bulls series.

Happy posting :)

gameplan: feed the beast, help him rebound and focus on pierce or allen

good luck guys.

My thoughts..

Orlando: get the ball to dwight more inside, instead of 3 after 3.

Boston: Stop turning the fricken ball over, allen heat up.

Despite what everyone is saying. We should win this game. Simply put without KG, the Magic are better than the Celtics. Get it to Dwight. Play smart. Magic win.

I think we can get this one. We barely made it when Ray was cold and Rondo had seven turnovers. But we must stay focused, specially on defense.

Good luck, boys, let's see what happens.

Yea that's true, but what a lot of people aren't realizing is that alston is a hell of a defender. Rose was just an offensive threat against rondo, alston plays very good defense and this team is one of the best defensive teams in the league. Now, 7 turnovers is still a lot for a point guard to have, but hey the magic will take it. I hope orlando keeps their foot on the throat of the celtics if they get a big lead again and not settle for three pointers!

Well, the C's have this one in hand. But they did what they needed to do, by winning one in Boston. They still have the upper hand heading into Games 3 & 4 in Orlando.

Now I know what you celtic fans went through in game 1. At least your team made a comeback, the magic played dead today. Hopefully they play better in game 3.

I liked what MP did in the end when he was driving hard. I just don't understand why he doesn't do that every game. If it were me I would bench Hedo and start MP at the SF pos. MP has one of the fastest drives to the bucket in the league but he only chooses to use it when he wants to. You saw how easy he got to the basket when we were getting blown out. He shot 14 free throws last night. If we could get that kind of effort from him every night that would just add one more weapon Boston would have to play for each game.

we need mp to drive to the hoop since boston is can't defend our drives very good. maybe he is scared or something. we need to cut hedo's minutes and gives some to MP.

That game last night was disgusting. The defensive intensity from Boston was impressive, matched with the fact that they couldnt miss. We didn't play HORRIBLY defensively i didn't think, but they were lights out on offense. They executed and ran their plays to perfection.

I think our biggest problem right now is that our 6'10 forwards decide to stand out around the 3 point arc no matter what. When Hedo drives to the foul line for that little pull up J he is nearly unstoppable. Shard too - although last night he couldnt hit anything.

I'm normally not a fan of Pietrus, but I did like what he was doing. I feel like normally when he comes in, he gets us out of our rhythm offensively. Sometimes guys can have big games but you wouldn't realize it because they do it in the flow of the game. Pietrus, however, I feel normally takes shots that takes away from the flow. However, we need someone to attack the rim. Turk and Shard refused to drive when they had the likes of Scalabrine on them.

I'm not gonna lie - I am worried. We played like crap mostly through the Philly series, then played well for 1 half of this boston series so far. I think game 3 is gonna be a big statement. Even if we lose it, if we show some heart and some offense I think we'll be OK still. C-Lee, if he is back to normal, could be HUGE for us.

I don't know what the deal is with him. He's just simply a pass first shooting forward. It's nice to be unselfish and get people the ball but when things are going tough and we aren't making our jumpers, wide open or not he needs to use his skill set and face up and drive. There is a reason we are paying him over 5 million a year. Play good defense and slash.

I'm still not worried. We took home court advantage. It's extremely difficult to win game 2, esp after a team wins the first game. Its the first game of desperation by one team so to be honest I didn't expect us to win.

We'll be fine, we just weren't hitting our open shots. I thought we played great D and had Boston down to 5 sec or less on their shot clock many times. In all, eventhough we got blown out I think we played pretty good. Sounds crazy I know but alot of things went Bostons way, they got alot of good bounces for offensive rebounds and House didn't miss anything. I don't see him having another game like that this series. I mean he had over 30 pts. That's alot of points for a bench player, even take half of his points away and we're in the game.

That's why making open shots is sooo important, we had fairly good ball movement but we just couldn't drain our shots. We won't go cold like that all series. Us making those wide open jumpers is the difference of a 20 pt win or a 20 pt loss. Thats the down fall when you're a jump shooting team. Now if MP can keep it up what he did last game then that will even us up a bit more. Get Lewis more plays posting up, have MP drive more and stop settling for 3's. In the first game we would spot up for 3, do a pump fake and go in for an easier 15 ft jump shot, hopfully we do that in game 3.

True I meant to mention that we DID take away home court advantage and that is HUGE. However, I say I'm worried because the same thing happened in the Philly series. It's a disturbing trend. The key to winning this series is gonna be Shard knocking down his shots, and Hedo penetrating. Plus, if we get a big lead like we did in game 1, having Courtney Lee slashing to the basket will be huge. He is, to me, undoubtedly the best one at getting to the rim for us and getting some easy points.

Another positive to look at is the emergence of JJ. He's bothered Ray on defense and has knocked down some shots. I like what I'm seeing from him, gives us proven depth at the guard spot.
