They are saying we should trade Chandler, Butler, and Brown for Shaq. WTF. Shaq won't be that good anyways, he is defintley not worth all that.

Ya thats way to much for a 67 year old shaq. maybe chandler and a pick but they would probably have to give up more for cap reasons.

I'll see who we draft but I hate Shaq right now and really do not want him

If you guys could find a way to trade the Suns Peja & Chandler for Shaq & Barbosa you would save $28,086,000 in the summer of 2010

After that maybe you move Barbosa and Peterson for big another expiring in 2010 (maybe Brad Miller?)

and you got another $13,741,144 off your books in 2010

Altogether thats $41,827,144 of bad contract off your cap that your could use to bag a big name free agent to pair with Paul

-------------------------------------------

I see the Hornets with a lot of bad contracts (Stojakovic, Chandler, Peterson, and Posey). Yall need new blood and dead weight off your cap. I feel bad Paul only got a real option in D. West

^no way barbosa gets in this deal. Shaq's already making 21 mill.

I would do a Chandler+Posey+pick or cash for Shaq

you would want Posey's long term deal?

it says players like david west and even chris paul have been rumoured in trade talks. I can maybe understand west, but y in thehell would u even consider trading cp3? What do yous think would get in return for him?

if the suns move shaq and possibly j-rich then that frees up a bunch of money. i dont think posey's contract is that bad for the kind of production he brings. yes its long term but just over 5 mil a year? im sure the suns can live with that.

he's 32 and he'll be making $6,031,800 in 2009

in 2008/2009 he averaged 8.9 PPG 4.8 RPG & 1.1 APG

that kind of production you could get from a good D League player... his contract at his age is one of the worst in the NBA

yeah i would not like the move of shaq to nola but if we can make some cap room by doing it then i'm all for it.

i say we release peja this offseason, pay whatever is left bc his contract runs out in 2010, then trade chandler.

that way, in 2010 we should have enough money to land chris bosh.

the hornets need to build around fast guys who can run up & down the court, that's why julian wright needs some playing time.

i'd be fine with the hornets primarily building around cp3 and wright.

The Hornets untouchables IMO are Chris paul, West, Julian Wright. Everybody else is up for grabs.

West and Bosh won't work out... I think there's a 50% Chance West is gone this off-season... Just my IMO.

our system doesnt require him to do much. most of the scoring will be coming from Amare. Nash will have the ball most of the time. all he really needs to do is defend the perimeter and shoot threes which i think hes proven he can do.
