The most constant appearances in the NBA playoffs are the referees. The playoff rookies this year are Zach Zarba and Gary Zielinski. The only playoff veterans from last year that have not received an assignment are Bob Delaney, Lou Grillo, Courtney Kirkland and Rodney Mott. Dick Bavetta continues to amaze at 69 years of age in his 33rd year in the NBA. Playoff assignments so far are listed below. Assignments with photos and scores for the regular season and the playoffs are kept at http://phillyref.com/basketball/nbarefs/nbaseason.html .

I think the refs are being too picky in this playoffs. let the teams play a little, it's fun to watch more physical games.

I wonder what kind of athletic training the REFS have to go through year in and year out. Anyone know?

Refs suck. There should be no refs. and do it like they do in the streets. call your own foul. and if you foul them admit you did. but there's always going to be that one player that calls every little touch a foul. So in that case. the person who "fouled" him. Throwdown to see who had the right call.

So who's for that? I am!

I hate those kind of people, specially when they are the biggest ones on the court.

Yeah I hate those people. Call everything a foul even if you don't touch them. Just so they don't look like a fool, for Missing. I missed so It must have been a foul. I never call fouls I let the other person say they fouled me. and if they don't wanna Admit they fouled. I just put it in their face the next play.

Is there anyone out there that accually ref'd a game? Its the worst in kids leagues because your not only fighting the players but their hot headed parents that want the wristle blown every time someone is brushed on the court. I think its the same way with the NBA. NBA basketball is so fast its impossible for the refs to see everything. Fans and players all think they know more than the officallials just like the little leagues. My only beef with the refs is to have some consistancy. If its a touch foul on Kobe or James on one side of the court, they should blow the same touch foul call for the no name player on the other team.
