His upside is limited imo. He can still be a very good player, though. I don't see him being a star, he doesn't have the 'attibutes.'

he can be a solid pg. it is very rare for players to become stars in the nba out of no where. you see guys like kevin martin and michael redd become good or very good, but thats usually all that happens.

Gilbert Arenas came out of know where..... I think.

I Believe a PG in todays NBA game needs to have the highest basketball IQ possible. If he physically can keep up with 'the big boys,' and has high intelligence on the court, than there's no limit to how good he can be. This being because of all the selfish talent, and heartless play that is seen league wide.

he can become an all-star. Idk about being a true star though

He might be an all star but the rockets must see something in him as they traded Alston and made him a starter

Sure, he can be Star. He still has to work a lot, mature his game and playmaking skills to become a great PG, but of course he has the talent and the skills to become a NBA star. I'm not saying SUPERstar ...

I don't know about all star. As long as Yao is a rocket, AB will be a complementary player. If he can take command and lead this team in key momemts he can be special. He has the speed, big shot making ability, but sometimes looks lost. He needs some time in the weight room and hang out with a veteran pg, maybe GP. He has a similar build as "the glove". Hey Dwill hung out with Stockton and his game has blossomed.

I don't see him being a star but he can certainly be an effective starter in this league for years to come.

I watch him a ton all year living in Houston. He is undersized, and isn't really a true PG. But, he is young, quick, and a pretty good shooter. I highly doubt he ever sniffs an all star game, but PG's sometimes take a while. He is only about 5'10" though (don't care what he is listed, I have seen him up close), and I see Lowry starting over him anyways in the next season.

don't forget, he was hot, and playing against a team that resembled a deer in headlights.

He's more like a Jason Terry to me.

As a Rockets fan, I can honestly say I don't think he'll ever be an all-star. Maybe in his best season he'll be one of the bench players picked by the coach. Im not saying he won't be a good player but I just don't think he'll ever be an all star. I think he will be a great PG for the Rockets though

He's got great potential. Living in Oregon, I watched him in his college days where he was awesome his senior year. I think he could become a great player, not sure about all-star but def will become a pretty good player.

of course you would think that you are a rockets fan

you probably also thought that the rockets were going to be competing in the west with the addition of artest. now you have to admit that they stink and tmac is garbage and they are better without him.

last time i checked we won game 1 by 27. lost game 2 by 4, in what can be arguably called the toughest road arena in basketball, and you say that is not competing? artest is far from perfect but im sure damn near every single other team (except detroit and indiana) would love to have him. and if you call the 3rd highest playoff scoring average all time "garbage", even if they ROX play better team ball without mcgrady you cant deny what he's done. 10 clown points for you.
