Supposedly, some Professors at the GT found a mathematical way to calculate who will be the NBA Finals Champ. Just thought it was interesting.
They took every possible event into account, including if KG will be out or in the playoffs.
Here's are the possible outcomes:

In either situation, looks like Math is against the Lakers.

ya but it doesn't account for injuries during series, and in a long playoff push they will happen

Mathematics are irrelevant in the playoffs.

Well, maybe if every player was a mindless robot this could be true.

anyone else notice how there were no upsets?

i think a baby could have done the same ****, whoever has the higher seed wins....

I'm a math guy but there's no way in hell you can use math in order to predict sports outcomes...
