A few points he made I thought was interesting.

http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=25970

Pete (Washington, DC): John is the winner of the HOU-POR game have the only chance to beat the Lakers this year?

http://a.espncdn.com/i/sn2.gif John Hollinger: (3:14 PM ET ) Realistically, yes, not just based on talent but also on matchups. Utah has nobody who can guard Kobe, Denver doesn't really either and they also struggle to defend Gasol. Portland and Houston both match up pretty well against both Kobe and the Lakers' size.

Dror (Israel): Looks like we're gonna get LBJ Vs. Wade in the semis and then LBJ Vs. Kobe in the finals. Seems like a great opportunity for him to show us how worthy he is of his first MVP hardware over them both...

http://a.espncdn.com/i/sn2.gif John Hollinger: (3:16 PM ET ) Not so fast on the LBJ vs. Wade. While the networks are dying to have this one, the Hawks match up really well against Miami and I think they'll prevail in seven. But if I walk out onto the court for that game and see Bennett Salvatore, I might rethink my stance.

Freddy (So Cal): Hey John, will Oden/Durant ever achieve Bowie/Jordan status for the Blazers?

http://a.espncdn.com/i/sn2.gif John Hollinger: (3:22 PM ET ) No chance of that, but it could end up more like Anthony/Wade status -- i.e, that the Blazers still end up with a pretty good player but miss out on a great one.

John Hollinger is stupid for making that comment on the ref. the HEAT will win that series.

Here is a little more.

Chris (Kenmore, WA): Hi John, any reason to think it won't be a Lakers vs Cavs final?

http://a.espncdn.com/i/sn2.gif John Hollinger: (3:31 PM ET ) That's certainly the way to bet, though I suppose you could make an argument for Portland-Orlando. Those are really the only four teams I can see making the Finals at this point. Maybe Denver, just because of their bracket. But it's a far cry from last year when you could make a case for 8-10 teams.

David (Huntington Beach CA.): Who wins if it comes down to LA and CLE in the finals?

http://a.espncdn.com/i/sn2.gif John Hollinger: (3:35 PM ET ) I think it will, and I think Cleveland will win, but I think they'll need all seven games and a big lift from the fans at the Q to get over the hump. The silver lining to what shapes up as a not terribly dramatic postseason is that the Finals could be off the charts.

I donít consider John Hollinger a professional after that comment. Why even insinuate the notion of bias officiating. D-Wade got those calls for being aggressive. You'd think John would realize that refs aren't perfect. Refs arenít looking to make bad calls or help a specific team. D-Wade put pressure on the officials and he got the calls. The greats do that.

I'm sure Hollinger is just like any objective fan that saw the refs steal a title and hand it to Wade.

I am drooling over the possibility of a Lakers/Cavs finals

smh...where is Steven A Smith who accounts for every nba possibility?

I think people are afraid of "Dwyane Wade" because they simply don't understand what hes capable of...

Why because he was aggressive in the series?

Why because he was aggressive in the series?

You mean like Wade elbowing Dirk while Dirk is the one that ends up getting a foul called on him?

This is actually well written. Except for that stupid Bennett Salvatore comment.

That was at the end of game 6. Yeah I didn't agree with that call.

I think for you to get a fair assessment of the game being rigged...You have to have accounted for every single foul throughout the course of the game...During the series...I noticed Dallas wanted to be more physical with Wade....I think each team had a fair chance to take over the series....

Dallas just choked...The miscommunication Time Out...Dirk Missing the Free throw...Terry missing the 3...

Those were 3 games they were still in...that they just choked

You also have to remember Jerry Stackhouse's foul that got him ejected in that series...When officials see's things like Stackhouse trying to take out Star players in the series...Of course there going to take everything in the other teams favor if CONTACT was made.
