Here's a good debate question... Excluding the NFL, which sport has the best regular season? ( NFL is excluded because everyone knows its the best)

Why is this in the NBA forum ?, where most people will vote NBA.

Why is it a given that NFL has the best season? I say MLB, yes, even over NFL.

(Why is it people assume that if they think something everyone else will think the same thing?)

Between this thread and "Retire baseball, focus on the NBA" thread, I'm done reading your threads.

I'm gonna say golf, because they essentially have 4 championships during their season

Why is the NFL the best? I think the NBA regular season is fantastic. You can literally sit down almost every single night and watch probably the greatest athletes in the world play basketball. For 5 and a half months. That's fricking awesome. You get to watch what, maybe 4 NFL games a week, maybe more if you continually flip around on sunday afternoon.

That's true, the 4 majors are far more prestigious than the Fed Ex cup...so when your post season isn't as glamorous or prestigious as your regular season...I mean I understand the reasons for the fed ex cup and all, but the regular season, if you can call it that, is by far more exciting than the "playoffs". But really, I don't think you can say golf has a regular season. It's just it's own unique style.

MLB because there are less playoff teams so the regular season counts more than the other sports.
In the NBA, you pretty much know who's gonna make the playoffs from day 1.

MLB just has way too many games, it's ****en annoying after a while. NFL way too short and you have to wait a whole week to watch the got damn game. NBA is pretty fun to watch, only good teams though and the last couple of minutes. NHL gets my vote.

Nascar you go around in a got damn circle like hundreds of time, o WOW really entertaining, Golf is such a stuck up sport, the object is to get a small ****en ball into a hole and you need all that land. Why not give homeless people that land, that will help solve one of our ****en problems in the world, or at least help.

Yeah, because cities financing stadiums for NBA, MLB, NHL and NFL teams with hundreds of millions of dollars, that could otherwise go to projects to help the homeless wouldn't be a better idea. No, lets just give them a bunch of land, that'll solve their problems.

Stadiums also bring in revenues which over a long haul is actually benefical. ^

That's mostly not true. Over the long haul few stadiums end up being worth what the cities finance for it. Especially when they do it for more than one of their teams.

I stand corrected, I thought if I included NFL it would be run away... appologies to those who wrote otherwise... and to the baseball dude that does like the thread, why stay and post if you don't like it?

Even though I like baseball, I think baseball has the worst regular season by far. Far too many games. I love the playoffs when the intensity rises and the competition improves.

Its strange that the NFL wasn't on the list, but I still choose the NBA. It is the most intriguing to me and that is my opinion. So yeah anyone can choose which they prefer more but I love the NBA the most.

In my opinion, the MLB has the best regular season. But, that's probably because that's also my fav sport.

I can not stand when people say, " golf sucks, why waste all that land on golf when you can build condos for the poor."

Great idea, lets turn beautiful golf courses into projects.
It is just the most ridiculous argument I've ever heard in my life for anything.

Golf may be the hardest sport for any average athlete to become even remotely good. Very chalenging and fun.

Football ( well soccer) not mls

its the only league where the regular season matters

How can you really get excited a about 1 game or even five games out of 162. There are way to many games in a baseball season..and before the season even starts there about 5 times tops that have a shot at winning the tittle..75 percent of the teams in the MLB are just out there going through the motions cause there 20 plus games out. Then the Yanks and the Soxs play like 15 times a year and we are suppose to get excited about that?

NFL is the best only thing making basketball most intresting is the playoff push like now, and the playoffs nfl you wake up in the morning just to watch your favorite team, if primetime game you go to a friends house and get to talk smack how they lost to that sorry team haha nothing gets better then it you can't exclude it

I hate those types of arguments for anything.

You can't just take the money baseball earns and give it to the poor.

Just doesn't work that way; we aren't communists.

NBA is by far the worst. NFL is the funnest, and MLB is 2nd.
