I've always been staggered by these unbelievable contracts that players are signing. What I've also been wondering a lot is contracts that historical legends would be signed to. Let's turned this thing into a fun little game. Pick one player from history, any team, any position, and tell us what you think that player should get in a contract, and tell us as if he's playing right now and he's in his prime. I'll start by going with Michael Jordan. I'll say every team except the Knicks: 7 years/$135 Mil, with incentives that could make the deal worth up to $175 million. The Knicks would offer him 5 years/$3 billion, a key to the mayor's office, and they would rename the Madison Square Garden to the Jordan Center.
