View Full Version : How Good is a healthy Bucks team?

Over the last couple months, the last seed in the east has been very indecisive, many teams, including the Nets, Pacers, and Bobcats have trying to nab it. But I am kinda surprised as to how close the Bucks were to getting it. I mean, they have both Redd and Bogut out for the season, but still somehow compete with other teams. I think one of the reasons might be is because Ramon Sessions and Charlie V has stepped up BIG TIME. But still, I don't see how they can be this close. So my question is, how do you think a full healthy line up of

Charlie V

would fare come near end of the season? I personally think they would indeed make the playoffs.

That's a pretty good starting line up. I don't know how their bench is. I think Ramon Sessions should have started all year, I started following him last year when he finally got minutes in the end of the season, he is a good point guard. Bogut was averaging a double double before he got hurt, so I'm sure they are missing his rebounding now. I don't need to say anything about Michael Redd haha.

Being that they are 5 1/2 games out of 8th seed right now, I think it'd be reasonable to think they would have a good chance at 7th or 8th with those two in the lineup all season.

Bucks should be an 8th seed but they are not consistent enough, nor do they stay healthy for any extended period of time. Someone is always hurt on that team, one week Villanova will be out with an injury and then when he comes back Bogut or Jefferson will be out for some reason.

If they all were to stay healthy then they could actually contend in the East, but with all the injury prone players on the Bucks, its a big if.

They are a solid playoff team and might win a round but not up there with the cavs, celtics or magic

I agree. I also think that people underrate Michael Redd quite a bit, just blindly labeling him a "chucker"

Not better than a healthy Wizards team.

anywhere from 6-8

6th Seed. Michael Redd can give 20-30 points on any given night. And Bogut seals them defensively and is a double-double every night. If they keep the same roster, they will be in the playoffs next year.

Like quite a few people have said already they'd be around the #6-8 spots had they been healthy for a full year but nowhere above that. They are good in a full lineup but not something to make you go "wow". Still they would be able to get into the playoffs and not so hard imo. But like someone said, Charlie V's emergence and consistency this year have been a big factor of what they've done so far.
