It would be great to see Denver finish 2nd. Have they ever finished that high before?

Yeah a few times but they haven't finished this high in a while, really good to see. They'll be a tough out in the playoffs this season.

Assuming the Suns don't pull off a miracle, the matchups right now are the ones I want to see.
Outside of LA, there's no matchup that has a sure win.
Portland/Houston had some good matchups this season and that would be a great series.

if denver finnish 2nd..I really hope the Jazz stay in 7th, would be much more comfortable than getting a better record and playing the Spurs or Rockets...but I think its inevitable that we play either one of those teams.

That would be a good matchup for the Jazz. However I would rather see the Jazz in that 8th seed play the Lakers. It would make the west playoffs more interesting where no team would really have more rest than the next as the rounds go forth.

The sixers are too close to the heat :(

The spurs are going to the 2nd spot. I think the nuggets get the 3rd

Nuggets have a fairly easy schedule left, aside from a game against Utah. They could still snag the 2 seed.

I think with the Lakers' play lately, they are a little more vulnerable to a first round loss.

Who do you think gets the #2 in the East?

I definitely have mixed feelings about the playoffs this year. It would be nice for the Sixers to get the 5th seed, because they could beat Atlanta in a series. But, I don't really know if I would be excited about that or not, because our team is gonna be totally different next year once Elton comes back and if Andre Miller leaves. So this years team is not a good indicator of how good we can be next year.

Be nice if the Bulls can win some close ones. These close games have been killing us all year. Would much rather see them move up to the 7 seed to face Orlando instead of Cleveland.

Assuming we finish the season tied with the Spurs, we own the tiebreaker 2-1 ;).

Bulls have 5 of last 6 games at home. So if we can't move up from that, then we don't deserve to.

The Hornets are going to have it tough in the first round, if they get the Spurs, especially if they are not healthy.

In the East, I'd like to see the Bobcats make it for the first time, and the Pistons to fall out. I think the Bulls will be an interesting threat to either Orlando or Cleveland in the first round, especially since they will both be looking ahead to Boston. I smell a possible upset there.

Once again when it is said and done the West is still better than the East. Even though they have improved..

Could this be the year Houston and Denver finally make it out of the first round? They haven't made it out since what, the mid 90's??

I hope the Sixers can at least hang on to 6th place. I'd love to get 5th place, but after possibly losing Thad Young for 2-3 weeks, we're going to be in trouble because he's been one of our hottest scorers lately.

True. Gonna be crazy in the #2-7 spots. I would think either team would prefer to play the Mavs. They clearly seem like the weakest team if they make it

Nuggets schedule
Jazz
Clippers

Thunder
@Lakers
Kings
@Blazers

Rockets schedule
@Suns
