Chris Paul

Play tough....Kenyon Martin is one of the dirtiest players in the NBA but he's still a pretty tough player.

Chris Paul? Come on. Paul is not tough. Great player, but I simply do not associate him with being tough whatsoever.

Chris Paul is the definition of tough of this era. He has already surpassed a prime Allen Iverson in terms of being a player too.

I forgot about Matt Harpring and David West, they are tough dudes though Harpring is annoying.

I don't think Bowen is tough, just more dirty. Wade is pretty tough, Kobe? I don't see that much compared to the other guys.

I don't like Kobe much, but he is pretty tough. Playing with the dislocated (or is it broken?) pinkie on his shooting hand for this long is rather surprising. He's not that tough in game, but he can play through pain.

Not even close, Robinson is just more of a hothead than Chris Paul.

The fact that Chris Paul is 6'0 and drives in the paint area like he does is amazing.

Common accusation. Bowen is physical and always keeps his opponent off balance. In the 90's he would've never gotten the 'dirty' rep. He just never plays the opponent soft and therefor gets into his opponents head. He takes alot of crap yet he still fulfills his role and never complains.

I forgot Gerald Wallace by the way...doh...

Well if that was the case you have to add Yao up there.

Yao played with a stress fracture on his foot for 4 weeks and still had the same type of production this was last season.

Nate Robinson isn't tough...just a loudmouth and a showoff. His improvement this season as legit scorer has been impressive and he is admittedly fun to watch. But someday his cockiness is going to get him smacked to the floor.

He has alot of maturing to do and isn't nearly as good as he thinks he is.

(Seriously, Yao really does not belong in every thread. Kobe's been playing with this hand for about a year now-that is pretty tough.)

I can't wait for it because he went from being just a normal player to a hated player for me after the arguement with Paul.

Broken bones and shredded ligaments. His ring finger on his right hand has also been dislocated. He basically has three healthy fingers. Not to mention he has been playing on a sprained ankle and a bum knee and hip.

Yeah you are right he doesn't, but he is the best center in basketball.

Kobe is tough, but I am not sure whether I put him in the same category as a guy like Ron Artest or Shaq.

Is 'tough guys' like 'intimidators'? If so then I think you pretty much got them all. I'm not really sure how CP3 is a "tough guy" though. He doesn't have a very big intimidation factor IMO. The most intimidating guy there IMO is Shaq. He is HUGE and tries to get inside your head when you play against him.

You have an argument with the other picks...but Jermaine O Neal is far from tough...he is actually one of the softest players at his position. He makes Chris Webber look like Charles Oakley when he posts up and settles for fade aways even when he is guarded by 6'5 Chuck Hayes.

At this point of his career, I agree completely that JO is soft, probably because he's washed up now.

wow, it sure didn't take you long to get in another unnecessary cheap shot at Allen Iverson....but what else is new you ignorant pecker

PG-ALLEN IVERSON(the guy has injured every part of his body, he's the smallest guy in the league in terms of height and weight, and he just keeps goin at it)
SG-Dwayne Wade(he's the same as AI only bigger)
SF-Ron Artest(the guy will take on an entire arena)

I admit it I don't like Nate Robinson. It's biased. I just don't like players that abort plays to accentuate personal showboating...flex muscles after a dunk even though the Knicks are 13 points behind and dribble the ball 8 seconds from the shotclock.

As a fan of sportcenter, Nate can be electrifying. But if I was his coach I would bench him for every pointless trick dribble. Bah.

To counter it I'll have to concede Nate is improving as a scorer...but for cryin' out loud, play more within yourself Nate Rob.

I much rather watch Manu Ginobili, Dwyane Wade or Rudy Fernandez...who can be spectacular and creative in the flow of the game instead of trying to force himself onto sportscenter like Nate.

I think Nene is tough. He'll bang in the post, go to the rim on anyone, and still snag a lot of boards. Plus, he'll give you the brazillian head butt if needed.
