Question #1) I have no idea what you are asking. It depends on your carrier, but I think all of the carriers that offer it give it for free...if that's what you're asking.

2) I like Baseball Tonight, but the season hasn't started, so I'll assess MLB Tonight once we see some games.

So far, it seems like MLB Tonight is better. They're not being totally biased or anything.

But, lets wait for the season to REALLY judge that.

And I have Verizon, and it's free.

Free on DirecTv...MLB is my choice...ESPN actually fired Harold Reynolds for something and I'm sure they now regret it. Their loss was MLB's gain. He's been one of my faves since he swapped the spikes for a mic...

I still like Baseball Tonight, and think the on-air talent is great. But I never know what their regular schedule is except 3:30 p.m -- I'm at work -- and midnight -- I'm not staying up for that. Other than that, they seem to flip around the clock.

MLB Tonight is good, and getting better. The on-air talent is experienced, willing to express their opinions and have the broader view of the league beyond Yankees-Red Sox. It will be great to see what happens when the regular season rolls around ONLY ONE WEEK FROM TONIGHT!

And Hazel Mae is a doll.

MLB tonight is better. The demnostrations they show are very good/ very funny (in a good way). And one of the lead anchors, I can't think of which one, I can't decide if I like his voice or not, it's the guy with the real distinct voice. Thoughts?

Matt Vasgersian?

mlb tonight. They have a vast knowledge base of all the teams--not just the Yankees and Red Sox.

Actually it's not Vasgersian, it's Greg Ansinger or however you spell it.

Is MLB Network a good channel? I have only watched a little bit of it and they were showing a Spring Training game.

Baseball Tonight is horrible, so it's not hard to be an improvement over that.

The best "expert" on that show is Jabba the Kruk.

It's decent.

It's basically the exact same thing as NBA TV and NFL Network, just for MLB now. You get more time devoted to highlights, probably a little better analysis (though it's not anything too great) and more in depth coverage for each team rather than just the Yankees and Red Sox on ESPN.

The guy with the real distinct voice is Amsinger; I don't mind him at all.

I don't have any complaints about any of the lineup, the two ladies in particular ;) The most saavy guy is John Hart; always gives very smart, insightful analysis.

Can we wait a bit and see how things settle a bit? Anything new always seems fresh, but then at some point they will realize that though MLB Network would love to have the integrity to cover everyone evenly, they will realize their sponsors are all about ratings. Who are the most popular teams? Who will then have the most people watching? How many of you honestly watched all of the 30 Clubs in 30 Days?

Thats sad too, because I've seen Kruk say some ******** things. He is usually decent, and hes very entertaining, and I start to like him more and more. But then he will do something ****tarded and ruin it. Like how Placido Polanco is the toughest out in the American League.

But he was on ATHF so I love him anyway.
