PEORIA, Ill. - Michael Jordan celebrated another Chicago basketball championship - his son's.

Marcus Jordan, son of the Bulls' six-time champion, scored a game-high 19 points to lead Chicago Whitney Young to a 69-66 victory over Waukegan in the Illinois Class 4A championship Saturday.

Apparently, he couldn't contain himself and had to let it out... congrats to Jordan and his son... it's in the human genes.

:pity:

We should really have a "recruit filter" that changes every recruits posts to:

"I agree"

Tough shoes to fill for Marcus and Jeff. They won't be as good as their dad, but maybe they'll be better GM's than their dad

Seriously? MJ has done a good job as Charlotte's GM. He has almost made them a playoff team.

They're still 6 games below .500

And is that his doing, or Larry Browns? I'm not going to call what he's done a good job, not by a long shot, not yet.

I don't like the fact that MJ was trying to move Gerald Wallace. And I don't approve of some of the trades he did i.e.Jason Richardson trade. But I think Larry Brown has actually done a terrific job with what he has got.

Good job Marcus.

But it's ludicrous to compare him to his dad in any way.

I heard Marcus is a top recruit for the NCAA. It would be great to see the son of the Great in the league.

He wont be a great player like ol' MJ but I think he will be an impact player. Probably a 6th man in the nba.

Good luck filling those shoes.

this will be the problem, everybody would expect Jordan's sons to be as good as him and they will not accept anything lower than that and they will fail expectations
