Over the course of a few years, I've come across several sites that are very useful for being a more informed NBA fan. If you have any that you'd like to share, please do!

http://www.prosportstransactions.com/basketball/Search/Search.php

Here you can look up any transaction for a player or an entire teams transaction history.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/

Probably the most comprehensive stats site. They pace adjustand all that good stuff. Probably the best stats site out there.

http://www.nbastuffer.com/

Also a very comprehensive stats site, with some of the stats you don't get from a normal boxscore.

http://www.82games.com/index.htm

Also a stats site, has some of the same stats ans basketball-reference, but compiles some other stats and things basketball-refernce doesn't.

These three sites together provide such a great comprehensive coverage of all the stats.

http://members.cox.net/lmcoon/salarycap.htm

For any questions about the salary cap, this is a great site to help figure that out. It is the Collective Bargaining Agreement FAQ. It isn't the end all when it comes to the CBA, but unless you're going to sift through the legal language of the CBA, this site breaks down the CBA very well.

http://www.storytellerscontracts.info/resources/08-09salaries.htm

A regularly updated, and the most accurate salary site I've found. Has each players salary as well as each teams current and next year projected salary, with a breakdown of what players have Team Options, Player Options, Qualifying Offers, among other things.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine

ESPN Trade Machine. You can try different trades to see if they work salary wise. Mostly just for fun, but can be a uesful tool.

http://www.nbadraft.net/
http://www.draftexpress.com/

These two sites are wholly dedicated to the NBA draft. Provide excellent scouting reports on players, mock drafts, player comparisons, draft history among other options.

http://www.shamsports.com/content/pages/

Nice site with all sorts of various NBA related articles, stats, etc.

http://www.slamonline.com/

Not necessarily my favorite, but it has some useful stuff, and has some good articles.

http://www.whatifsports.com/nba/default.asp

A fun site, and that's about it. But it's a place where a computer simulation can matchup teams from different era's. Like if you wanted to see how the 07-08 Celtics would matchup against the 00-01 Lakers, you can do that. Kinda fun, but that's about it.

And of course the PSD NBA forum, and NBA related forums

PSD NBA forum:
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41

PSD NBA Draft Forum:
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=144

PSD NBA Comparison Forum:
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=179

PSD NBA Classid Forum
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=435

Enjoy!

www.Hoopdata.com is good and this site has the best raw boxscores I've seen so far: http://www.basketballgeek.com/data/
They're packed into zips and are in csv format.
Also www.nba.com/hotspots is a good tool to help visualize a player's scoring percentages

Nice list, but when I read the thread title one site immediately popped into my head, and so far nobody has listed it: http://www.hardwoodparoxysm.com/

Can't recommend it enough, and it is much better during the regular season than it is now. Hilarious + smart. Win.
