So I've been an NBA fan for a while. Grew up watching Jordan dismantle my Knicks year in and year out. The classic battles with the Pacers and Heat. I' was watching live for Houston's shot, LJ's 4point play, Miller's 8 points, etc. but I grew out of it for a little bit. Got more into baseball and football. But I just have to say:

THE NBA IS GREAT AGAIN!

Team Rivalries are back again. Celtics vs. Lakers in the finals was great. The debate of league MVP is the best it has been in a LONG LONG TIME! I mean LeBron vs. Kobe vs. Paul vs. Wade. These 4 players are unbelievable. And that's leaving out Dwight Howard who seems like he might be ready to break down the door soon. All 4 have a legitimate shot in my opinion of going down as top 25 players of all time. Kobe and LeBron for sure, Paul and Wade maybe. Going back a few years, no offense to Dirk and Steve Nash because they are great and deserved their MVP's, but now it's back to a real race for #1. Speaking of greatest players of all-time, Tim Duncan, Shaquille O'Neal, Jason Kidd and Kevin Garnett are all chasing at least one more ring before they go out. KG and TD are close, Kidd right behind and who knows, Shaq is tricky he might find a way onto a winner before his career is said and done.

You got KryptoNate jumping over SuperHoward.
You got a team FULL of 25 and unders ready to stun the world in Portland.
You got Devin Harris buzzer beaters.
You got Brandon Roy buzzer beaters.
Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, OJ Mayo.

The NBA is great again! If you love it or have your own comments/memories so far from the season please add them to my list. I LOVE THIS GAME!

Moreover you have a balanced array of elites in both the west and east.
Finals of 06-07 is not something anyone wanted to see.

I love that someone found an amazing player that I didn't even mention. Granger has been a beast and I didn't even write about him.

Someone that grabs 17 and 19 is a little bit more then a role player..

Love is going to be a stud.

Where Deron Williams continues to dominate yet Billups gets in the All-Star game instead of him.
But yea, this is the NBA in the best it has been in recent years. The return of Boston and Wade and the East actually has elite teams once more.
One thing thats not so great is seeing the annual contending Pistons fall this year.

Mark Blount had a 28 and 21 game. Is he a stud?
No.
If Love can do that consistently, I'll shut up.

Super.

Is he closer to being KG or closer to bein Zach Randolph?

That's actually a really good question. Zach is definitely one of the reasons why relying solely on stats is misleading. Marbury's near 20 and 8 career numbers is another one... :p

Orlando is a great story. Does Dwight ever win an MVP ? He's got a while to do but can he ever pass LeBron and Paul?

ok I'll be serious now. Its good to see the heat bounce back last year. D-wade is back stronger than ever and we have good young core. Hopefully we keep this core together this time
