Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers:

Cleveland will win. The game is in Cleveland, which is a serious advantage considering the Cavaliers' home record. LeBron James will dominate at the forward position. Dwight Howard should have a big game, but Ilgauskas is large enough and not a defensive pushover. The injury to Jameer Nelson is a big reason why Orlando has so much less of a chance. Mo Williams should do much better against Rafer Alston.

Sacramento Kings vs. Atlanta Hawks:

Atlanta will win. One team is simply much better than the other.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. San Antonio Spurs:

San Antonio will win. See above.

Detroit Pistons vs. Dallas Mavericks:

Dallas will win. They are playing at home, and are desperate to make the playoffs. With Wallace out, the Pistons are even less able to defend Dirk Nowitzki. Having Allen Iverson out (to come off the bench) lowers their depth to counteract Jason Terry. Rip Hamilton should have a good night, but it won't be enough.

Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls:

Boston will win. Even without Garnett, the Celtics are a much better team. Their defense should stifle the Bulls. Rondo will perform well against Derrick Rose. Paul Pierce will dominate at the small forward position. The Bulls' shooting guards should do well against Ray Allen. John Salmons could be the surprise X-factor, but all signs point to Boston winning.

Washington Wizards vs. Utah Jazz:

Utah will win. Nothing else needs to be said.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors:

Golden State will win. Their firepower will prove too much for the Clippers. Stephen Jackson will have an easy night against Al Thornton. Baron Davis is more powerful, but Monta Ellis is faster. In the end, Golden State has too much offense to lose this game.

Philadelphia 76'ers vs. Los Angeles Lakers:

Los Angeles will win. Nothing else needs to be said.

sixers beat lal

I think they can, they have a much better chance without Bynum there cause with Gasol at the 4 the Sixers are just to small. Thaddeus Young vs Lamar Odom, key matchup. Other than the obvious stopping Kobe task. Should be interesting unless the Lakers have a good night or the Sixers have a bad night.

one of you guys needs to go apply at TNT for a junior analyst position, i mean last nights predictions were spot on! LOL everyone keeps saying they have a "chance" to beat the lakers without bynum but still no team has been able to. we had them down without bynum and odom, but you have take into account the "K" factor. im saying the jazz lose by 20 just because, hey jazzholes, not easy going on the road playing back to backs is it?? LOL try playing 6 games in 9 nights and going 4-2

cliperrs wins cuz of their physical strength. they would probably go head 2 head against the gsw offensively and the clippers have that kinda talent to be a running team. put camby in C along with 4 fast pace players, he'll have a block party.

cavs is the favorite in this game because of the XX-1 home record but the magics are a capable team on the road. dwight is too athletic for Z, without help defense, dwights gona circle around him on the paint (under the basket), or beat him by first step and when that double team comes, a 3 point shooter is open. theyr gonna miss ben wallace on this one because of the mismatch when they put varajao on dwight that lebron might play alot of the 4 spot in this game. the key for the magics is not to overshoot 3's than their usual and attack the basket as often. could go either way but i think the magics have a big chance on this one.

the lakers should have a rebound party.

its actually easier for them to beat us with bynum in because the twin tower slow us down real bad and theyve reinvented themselves as a running team when brand went down. when we have lamar at the 4 though its like 4 guards with a center. except if lukes in the game cuz we all know he's always on carls jr x-mo.

If you have looked at what the Bulls have done at home against top teams, you would know why he put that. We have beat the Rockets, Magic, Hornets, Cavaliers, Nuggets at home since the trades we made. Now that KG and "Big Baby" are out and Rondo is 100%, we have a really good chance to win. We just MURDERED the Hornets at home and at one point, we were up by 32 points.:speechless: I see you really haven't paid much attention to the Bulls.

How so? Have you been watching the Celts play with all these guys out? The Bulls have a great chance to win.

I guess I was correct after all, huh? The Bulls won 127-121 and you thought we didn't even have a chance.

Exactly what happened. The injuries really hurt you especially when Powe got injured. Pierce was CRAZY, 29 points in the 2nd half.:speechless: That was a great game.

I mean its fine if you want to predict games, but to give write ups as to why, most of which point out favorable matchups the most casual nba observer could, it just doesn't make sense. This guy continues to unimpress with his supposed basketball knowledge.

I shouldve posted Iggy would shut down Kobe, worst game of his season. Iggy was a major reason for it. Hes definitely earned a spot on the All-Defensive team, if he doesnt make it it'll be a travesty. He was literally doing it all defensively.

And everyone bashing the OP for his predictions being off needs to chill out with that. At least the dude took the initiative to make a thread about the day's games where everyone could post. If you think your crystal ball is better, prove it by making better predictions, but please don't harp on everyone else's. Thx.
