I need to know a little about Ohio State so heres a little info about Siena...

PG: Ronald Moore
SG: Kenny Hasbrouck
SF: Alex Franklin
PF: Edwin Ubiles
C: Ryan Rossiter

Ronald Moore is a very speedy PG, he commands the point very well and if need be will run up and down on your *** if you don't respect him.

Kenny Hasbrouck may be one of the best players in Siena history, he can consistently hit the 19 foot jumper or a nice little floater or even a 3 pointer. He goes inside alot and if you can't stop him, he'll be a menace.

Alex Franklin can go inside and score and also hit the mid range jumper. Hes more of a defender and shuts down people.

Edwin Ubiles is really the only NBA type player we have, hes very athletic and can get inside very easily. Very hard to describe him and his play, its interesting.

Ryan Rossiter, aka the goofy looking white kid. His brother Steve plays at Davidson, but hes better than his brother. Hes a great rebounder for Siena and can score inside.

Key bench players

Clarence Jackson, he is a 3 point specialist and will take over for Kenny Hasbrouck next year. I have not seen him that much and don't know how he is going inside.

Josh Duell, a 275 lb white guy not hard to miss. He brings energy off the bench and with his creative plays he gets us back in the game in tight situations.

The other 2 that come in are Owen Wignot and Kyle Downey are 2 good recruits from this year and are decent shooters.

Siena likes to play the fast pace and if they get points on that and get out to a comfortable lead they will pressure you full court which is one of their specialties to tire you out.

As evident from the Old Spice Classic they are not good when they have a dominant guy on the inside, they can still win but it will be tough.

If you need anymore information, I'm here.

The second round matchup of Kansas vs. WV/Dayton should be a good one.

OSU is hard to judge. They were underachieving all year & then they switched up their starting lineup recently & went on a nice run to end the season.

They have a guy in BJ Mullens, who was projected as the #1 or 2 pick prior to this season. He's a 7 footer, but he hasn't shown anything at all this year. He is one of the guys who got moved to the bench when they switched things up a few weeks ago.

Diebler is a very good deep shooter. Turner is the do-it-all guy. He is this team's top player. Lauderdale has a huge body, but he isn't as good as you would probably imagine just by looking at him. They are very young, as Lighty was the only experience player on the team, and he has been out since December. Inconsistency was this team's biggest problem prior to the lineup change...So we'll see if that cured it or if the Big 10 Tourney was more of an aberration.

Starting lineup:
G - PJ Hill
G - William Buford
G - Jon Diebler
F - Evan Turner
F - Dallas Lauderdale

Key reserves:
G - Jeremie Simmons
C - BJ Mullens

Key Injuries:
G - David Lighty - Out For Season

Mullens might give us trouble, but I like the 3 guard set for Ohio State against Siena. Its somewhat comparable to our lineup since Rossiter is more of a F and Franklin is more of a G. Should be a good game, can't wait.

I love this bracket for MSU. There is absolutely no reason we should not get to the elite 8. Louisville plays a tough zone which we have struggled with all year but we should role through the first 2 wins no problem and we could take WVU or Kansas, whoever we play in the 3rd round. I could see a final 4 in our future very soon!

yeah im almost tempted to pick robert morris over MSU. But im kind of dumb in that i pick way too many upsets. It worked out for me like once in the last 4 years with the year North Carolina beat Illinois. But anyway, there's no reason the big ten should have as many teams as the ACC or Big East. Im a Wisconsin fan too. MSU will get knocked out early

It's not that I think MSU isn't a good team, it's just USC has a lot of talent. Add that to the fact that Morgan has been inconsistent, and I think we'll see an upset. I never pick that many Big 10 teams to go very far, even though I'm in Big Ten country and root for Iowa. I'll probably pick Purdue to go to the Sweet 16 and that will be all for the Big 10 for me.

yo congrats on winning the ACC. BC vs. Duke was a crazy game.

one more shot by Sanders!! ahh so close. then again thats the story of BC.

heres some info on BC for you super bracket predictors.

Star Player: Tyrese Rice, PG who can do it all. Great outside shooter, excellent ball handler, limited defender, underated playmaker (he really doesnt have much to pass to honestly. Overall, the type of player that can take over a game a big downside, he is a very streaky in his shooting and it affects the rest of his game. when hes on tho, he is impossible to stop.

2 Pretty good supporting players: Trappani SF and Rakim Sanders SG
Trepani can shoot 3's pretty well, has some driving ability, and is somewhat athletic and a smart player.
Sanders is super athletic and can man up with the best scorers, not a very good jump shot, but fights hard on the glass and cleans up the garbage.

Wild Card: Freshman SG Reggie Jackson. star player in the making, but limitedin minutes bc he is stil learning, but he can come in big games and make an impact with his shot and athleticism.

Weakness: Big men led by Southern who is very inconsistent and isnt very good anyways, but did have some good games. almost no depth at this position. also the team is very young accept for SR Rice.

Strength: This team is gritty and will grind it out. they can hang in there with any team bc they play very disciplined defense.

honestly, BC overachieved big time in my eyes. a 7th seed? wow, i thought 8 at the highest. Al Skinner should get consideration for coach of the year. this team isnt super talented.

to add: they beat Duke and UNC and FSU

As my predictions stand right now:

1st Round Winners:
Louisville
Ohio State
Arizona
Wake Forest
West Virginia
Kansas
Boston College
Michigan State

The OSU/Siena game is a tossup, I don't REALLY know about either team enough to be sure about my pick. Though the info from yboord was helpful. Also, I wasn't so sure about BC over USC. My "seed" upset of the bracket will be Arizona over Utah. I like the underachieving major conference teams over the conference winning mid-major conference teams, usually.

2nd Round Winners:
Louisville
Wake Forest
Kansas
Michigan State

No upsets here.

Sweet 16 Winners:
Louisville
Kansas

I'm not that hot on Michigan State, don't know why, but I'm just not.

this looks exactly like mine except i have usc over bc. i think kansas' experience will take them to the elite 8 but i doubt they get louisville. depending on which wake team shows up, they could give louisville a run but i doubt it. louisville in the finals losing to unc.

I really like our chances in this bracket. My biggest worries will be from Kansas/West Virginia. However, if we continue to play solid defense we should run right through it to Detroit.

It's really cool to have the Cards as a #1 seed and a team that everyone seems to expect to do well. That doesn't happen very often.

If Louisville comes into this too confident I could see them struggling they will probably face OSU in second round and the trip is like an hour away which is one of the reasons why I don't see Siena upsetting oSU, I believe Siena is a good team for this tourny but not happening in Dayton at least

This region could get messed up, IMO.

There are a lot of dangerous teams lying in the weeds (Siena, Arizona, Cleveland State, West Virginia, USC etc....)

Couple that with the talent of a Wake Forest and Kansas....and anything can happen.

Sienna has been impressive in the tournament the past two years. Good for them. They put up a great fight against Louisville.

MSU in the sweet 16 for 8th time in last 12 years. Awesome win today and Travis Walton was huge! We are playing very well right now.

He is usually our worst offensive player who gets regular minutes. He is one of the top defenders in the nation but we rarely expect more than a few points and a couple assists from him. But he has had stretches this year when he has had that jumper down, not very consistant though.

I feel bad for Ibok because of his post free throw play

From ESPN.com (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=4022641&name=marchmadness)

We just had our comic relief amid a tight, fierce game.

After Spartans guard Chris Allen made two free throws, freshly inserted State backup big man Idong Ibok grabbed the ball and stepped beyond the baseline to inbound it. Problem is, it was Kansas' ball, and all the Jayhawks gave him what-are-you-doing looks. Ibok realized he was starring in his own Southwest Airlines, want-to-get-away? commercial, dropped the ball and sheepishly retreated to play defense. Tom Izzo was not pleased with the lack of focus.

But give the kid a break. He's from Nigeria. Maybe over there they play make-it-take-it.

I picked Louisville to get to the Final Four in almost every bracket I filled out (most of my brackets are garbage by now anyway), but I really wanna see Michigan State get there. I'd like to see a Big Ten team there and they'd be a real threat to win it all in Detroit.

Go Spartans!

Ehhh, I'm biased because I'm a gopher fan and generally hate to see a Big Ten team have success, but this may be an exception. I like Izzo, and they have a hometown Minnesota boy on their team that my school played in the State HighSchool B-Ball tournament, so that's kind of fun.

Oh, and I hate Louisville.:D

I thought that was hilarious. I was so tense watching all game and when that happened I was almost in tears laughing. I am nervous for tomorrow, we will have to play nearly flawlsess to pull this one off.

MSU is playing very well. Louisville's offense is very stagnent. If they don't turn this around in the next two minutes or so, then they are going home. Tom Izzo really is a great coach. He has done a phenomenal job with his team. He deserves to make the final 4.

MSU upsets Louisville. Michigan St pretty much dominated the entire 2nd half. I can't wait to watch the UCONN vs MSU game, that will be great.

Great game by MSU, such a good/underrated team in this Tourney. They dominated Louisville in the last 15 minutes or so, which was kinda surprising.

I kinda regret not taking them to go all the way in a few brackets. They are gonna have a home crowd in Detroit.

Nice to see a Big Ten team get there after the league had a pretty damn good year.
