Yeah, it was a pretty sick dunk.

You want a real highlight reel from that game, though, find footage of each and every time Pops Mensah-Bonsu annihilated the rim. The guy was fixing to tear the backboard down every posession.

I don't even like Granger, Pacers are in the Bulls division. It just wasn't an impressive poster.

I'd say it was more than an attempt, i'd call it a success...you first commented saying the dunk was not impressive, which everyone else seems to agree it is...tried to throw a jab by showing a dunk against the Raptors, and i threw an uppercut showing a game-winning dunk against the Bulls...lol your comments are irrelevant to me now son

Um, it had nothing to do with being against the Raptors. It was just a real nasty poster and just happened to be against the Raptors, and hell it was even against a guy who most Raptor fans hated and is no longer on the team anymore.

Thanks for reminding me why I rarely post in the NBA forum though.

To be honest, no one hated Jermaine O'neal from the Raptors...

And in my books, dunking over a guy > dunking through a guy. That's why this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRhcUnrUEiA) owns everything.

was a sick dunk but IMO looked better at the side angle than from behind the basket

Eh, not that impressive.

I agree. If that were a poster, you'd probably only see Granger's shoulder.

Marion has hops. Maybe Portland should try to sign him once his contract runs out and he becomes worth a lot less. He could shore up the small forward position and provide some veteran playoff experience.

He dunked over someone that didn't even jump. why is that impressive?

_Sn1P3r_
03-16-2009, 09:21 AM
Because Ariza dunked on Hill on X-Mas day before and Hill didn't jump, yet it was impressive too. ^

I dont understand what people expect...that dunk looked very similar to the kobe over nash dunk in the playoffs a few years ago, nash stayed on the ground as well...respect the play for what it is, if a play looks awesome give it credit from whoever performs it, even if it isnt someone on your team

Eh, not that impressive.

Gotta agree here. To me, being posterized is dunking while someone is contesting it. Granger seemed to be partially out of bounds and Marion just went up for a typical dunk.
And I was really hoping for something sick cuz I'm still a huge Marion fan.

Perhaps another angle will make it look better.

No big deal here at all. I've seen better dunks from Jason Terry. The simple fact is, you can't have a poster of some one trying to take a charge... that's just a dunk, and absolutely nothing special about it.

He wasn't trying to take a charge. He was falling on his *** and praying he didn't look stupid.

Pacers used to be on everyone's posters because they'd challenge every shot. Their "defense" now consists of trying to steal the ball every play or get a charge.

The best posters are when the defender is cringing and trying to get out of the way :smoking:

Edit: I just watched it like five times, was it called a charge? Cause it was definitely an offensive foul.

That was a real poster dunk. McGrady had the, "I'm going to stab you in the back ally after the game" look to him following the play.:speechless:

The Marion dunk was a game changer yesterday. That's probably why it got people so excited. It was good to see him get a slam with his new team.

More shats!
