View Full Version : Can we talk?

03-14-2009, 01:26 PM
I guess a lot of other forums would call this an off-topic thread. We could use this thread to talk about non-specific stuff, that way we wouldn't necessarily have to start a new thread just to discuss something.

Does anybody plan on being a regular poster in the Royals forum? They're my team, so I'll be here! I wouldn't mind a little company!

03-17-2009, 05:05 PM
I can post in here, despite the Royals not being my number one team. :)

03-17-2009, 08:51 PM
Who's your number one team, the Red sox?

03-19-2009, 05:21 PM
Yes sir.

03-19-2009, 06:46 PM
If the Royals didn't exist, the Red Sox would probably be my favorite team. I love Fenway Park.

I put some links in a few threads so you guys can quickly access some updated Royals info. Don't be shy, people! The Royals are kicking butt!

03-21-2009, 05:32 PM
I'm a huge Royals fan as well...that makes two of us =/.

Don't worry, once we start tearing it up early on, there will be more people.

03-21-2009, 07:33 PM
Real fans, or bandwagon fans?

03-24-2009, 01:02 AM
I'm a Phils fan, but I always play as the Royals in MLB The Show. Just to build them up.

Nice sig.

Karlos, where you at? We got 1 week til the season starts!

04-01-2009, 08:40 PM
We are kicking some major butt right now! We lead the majors in homeruns, and are tied in team batting average. If that doesn't spell excitement...I don't know what does! I really don't want to go through this great season of Royals baseball tacking to myself! C'mon guys!

No idea where MastaPeacock went, he use to be the head of this forum. I know Rhensley3 was looking to build up this forum, but he got banned for some reason :(

04-05-2009, 01:58 PM
Damn! I guess I'm just late, as usual!

04-08-2009, 12:37 PM
Bo was a good one. I remember him running up the left-field wall!

04-09-2009, 02:19 AM
i hope to be on here quite a bit.

04-09-2009, 02:43 PM
Awesome! somebody to talk Royals with!

04-19-2009, 02:28 PM
I would have thought that being in first place would have driven some added interest in our little forum? :sigh:

04-19-2009, 04:06 PM
Long time fan here. Started following them in '75. It's hard to get too excited, or too down on them anymore.

This season has promise. Pitching is coming around, we got some bats with a little pop, a mix of veteran and younger guys. If we can get Guillen and Gordon healthy, and get Hochevar producing at MLB level, we got a chance for a pretty good season.

Greinke looked stellar last night. Really great to see him turning ito the pitcher he "was supposed to be".

I love the Royals

04-19-2009, 05:35 PM
Going to the top of the 8th, the Royals lead 5-3!

04-19-2009, 05:41 PM
Wish you guys would check in more often. It would be fun to get a Royals forum rolling!

04-19-2009, 06:48 PM
Kyle Farnsworth is the definition of awesome. Just ask Paul Wilson or Jeremy Affeldt

04-27-2009, 10:58 AM
Are there any Royals fans out there? I really appreciate you other guys stopping by to chat, but a real Royals fan or two would be totally cool!

So...here we are....end of May, and the Royals are playing .500 ball and are 3 games out of first place. How many of you would have taken that if it was offered before the season started?

05-27-2009, 10:33 AM
Id take it since it means the White Sox arent in first.

Please every time you see them throw out the Grienke machine.

05-27-2009, 11:08 AM
The White Sox seem to be floundering a bit.

The heat has set in here in the Mid-West. Typically, the Dominican players play better when it gets hot, as thats what they're used to. Guillen, Olivo, and DeJesus should start to play better.
