Hey what's up??

I am trying to compile a list of the most well known Tigers quotes, slogans, chants, one-liners, anything! And I need your guy's help.

I'm looking for anything from...

distinctive announcer one-liners, sayings, and calls
chants at the stadium
nicknames
player quotes

Basically anything unique to the Tigers. Thanks a lot for your help! :)

Anything Ernie Harwell says when a ball is hit into the stands. I love how he makes up stories about someone from Toledo just caught that ball. He's going to bring it home and give it to his mother. crap like that is hilarious.

As a young kid i was always like, how does he know that stuff?

George Kell:

(whenever Tig's needed a clutch hit, stikeout, double play, etc.)

"The Tigers SURE COULD USE A BASE HIT, RIGHT ABOUT NOW..." slight southern drawl and pause for emphasis between Right / About / Now...

Ernie Harwell (not verbatim):

"And there's a young couple sitting behind home plate. They are very much in love; they're kissing after every pitch. He kisses her on the strikes, she kisses him- well, there's another strike."

That one hobo or whatever outside the CoPa, who has the hulk hand with a change cup.

"EAT 'EM UP TIGERS, EAT 'EM UP!" *shakes the change cup

"EAT 'EM UP TIGERS, EAT 'EM UP!" repeat

I'm with you on that one. Thats the year everybody said we didn't stand a chance against the Cards and Gibson. The first two games it was looking that way. But thanks to Mickey Lolich ( The Donut man ) we took them in seven.
