lol artest was so sure that it was going in that he turned his back and raised his arm. another one like this that i remember is gilbert arenas when he took the 3 at the buzzer and turned his back and raised his arms.

so does anyone know something like this BUT backfired? like he thought its going to go in but it went out? :D

yeah

His question is, has this situation ever gone wrong for a player? Where he thought his shot was going in, but it didn't.

That's too funny. U watch the ball and the all of a sudden Artest is walking in front of the camera. Almost like it was edited.
Good stuff.
I don't recall any of the ones mentioned and definently haven't heard of it backfiring, but I'm sure it has in the past. Would love to see the video of that.

I wouldn't be surprised if it has happened before, but its not like its hard to call it, especially if you are a shooter who has made 1000s like that in your career. Hell, I am a terrible shooter but even I know when one is going in.

Would be funny if someone shoots an air ball and does that.

Haha, that's sick. Ron called it right away. I would feel so stupid if I did that and it missed. :pity:

Reggie is the greatest 3 point shooter of all time, hands down.
