They have lost to them the last 2 years in the playoffs and this year the Pistons have swept the Magic in the season.

Currently the Magic is the 3rd seed and the Pistons is the 6th seed. Not sure why Orlando can't beat them though.

I guess they better hope the sixers pick up some steam or the heat fall. But hey the playoffs are different, the magic should be able to take care of business.

I can actually see the Magic fall in the first round to the Pistons since Nelson got injured.

They better do whatever because they can't figure out the Pistons. That being said, where does AI go and what does he do now?

Nelson is so overrated. Granted, he's a better scorer than Alston, but what else?

Nelson is so overrated. Granted, he's a better scorer than Alston, but what else?Way better shooter and knows the Magic team. He was the nucleus of the team and leader.

Interesting. AI has been missing games, and the Pistons have been winning...not exactly a coincedence IMO.

Reason Detroit can do good against them, is because Sheed can handle Dwight 1 on 1, Prince can guard Hedo or Lewis. Stuckey and Rip are much better then Alston and Lee. Detroit just matches up great against them IMO.

Maybe it's because detroit is just flat out better and their record doesn't show because they traded a huge piece of there team?

The pistons are just better, face it!

Say what you want about me being homer. They are still better.

He messed up their chemistry so it seems.

Coach Van Gundy and staff need to do a better job preparing a game plan against the Pistons. The Magic can win a championship with this team. Even with the injuries.

Dude its one game. I like the Blazers but I don't see them beating L.A in a 7 game series.

All i know is it will be celtics-sixers and Orlando-Detroit in the same bracket. Not gonna be easy for Orlando at all. Their road to the chip will most likely be...Detroit, Boston on the road, Cleveland on the road, then whoever makes the finals on the road.

Thatd be one hell of a run if they could do that.

The Pistons are so much better and more balanced without Iverson. Yet people keep making excuses that AI had nothing to do with their past struggled.

Iverson simply dominates the ball too much to be effective on a blue collar, share the ball team like Detriot. I'm just glad they can manage to play without Billups.

Sheed can play Howard one-on-one, Howard might go for 30 but Hedo and Rashard certainly won't if Detriot never double teams. The only really worrisome spot for Detroit is the bench, especially if AI doesn't want to take over the reigns of the second unit. But Orlando doesn't have a bench either, so....

Probably has to do with the size in the backcourt.

Have Iverson off the bench, and the Pistons are dangerOUS.
